Strengths: Inexpensive, easy to use, good design, supports SD memory.
Weaknesses: Indoor pictures are fuzzy, no optical zoom, battery life is a little short.
Summary: The Kodak Easyshare C310 is a very beginner-friendly model, and should be your first if you don't have any experience with digital cameras.

It's very barebones, but has most of the important features your average shutterbug would look for. Sporting a slot for SD card expansion (as opposed to the expensive XD), this camera can hold hundreds of photos up to 4 megapixels. Picture quality is good overall, but it blurs easily if you can't keep your hand still, if you're not in a properly-lit area, or if you're in an area that's too bright.

The only reason why I would not recommend this camera is for the fact that it does not have optical zoom, instead opting for digital zoom. Optical zoom is equivalent to looking at something through a magnifying glass or telescope; digital zoom is the computer simply enlarging the image, greatly diminishing the quality in the process. The 30-second video clips you can record with this also don't have sound, but what did you expect for under $100? I also wish it came with a case instead of a hand strap, but most others don't either.

All in all, the Kodak Easyshare C310 is a great camera for the budget-conscious and amateur photographers.

Strengths: nice size and price
Weaknesses: some photos turn out fuzzy
Summary: I was looking for a good beginner camera with an affordable price and I found it. With just a few minutes of reading the manual I was ready to take pictres. It is a nice size and affordable price. The software is nice. I am able to fix the red eye and the photos look great.

Strengths: User-friendly! Fixed-focus & high quality pictures!
Weaknesses: None!
Summary: Checking out several digital cameras, Kodak is my first and last choice. I'm happy with this camera because of its 4.0 megapixels, 5x digital zoom, simplicity, low price and quality pictures. It is great with enough features and options for people to start digital photography. Very easy to operate and the pictures are sharp and well balanced for both day-time and night-time shots. I have been 100% satisfied with this camera in all settings and environments. I would strongly recommend for those with limited budgets and want an awesome little camera.

Strengths: size, ease of use, included software
Weaknesses: no manual override settings
Summary: I shopped around for quite a while before deciding on the Kodak Easyshare C310 Digital Camera. I had a certain amount of money budgeted to spend so I felt the C310 was my best choice as far as picture quality and ease of use. The software that's included with the camera allows the user to take out red eye and make other changes in the pictures to improve the quality. Add-ons that you can purchase are a printer dock or camera dock to meet your particular needs.

Strengths: Takes good pictures if you can get it still
Weaknesses: battery life
Summary: Eitehr its me, or my camera just sucks up battery life. Ive had this camera for 2 days, and I am satisfied with the pictures it takes (when you can hold it still). I need to find some good batteries built for digital cameras that will last me longer than a day!

Strengths: 4.0-megapixel1. 6 in. (4 cm) color display easy to use, easy to carry, and could take good detailed pictures, 2 AA batteries
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: I need a camera that was easy to use, easy to carry, and could take good detailed pictures. I decided on a kodak , The 1.6" high-resolution display lets me view brilliant, sharp pictures with ease and clarity.

One thing I like is that it includes the Kodak EasyShare software, which works seamlessly with the C310 and allows you to edit, organize, print or view a slide show from your computer.

Strengths: Small, comfortable size. Easy and intuitive controls. Inexpensive price tag.
Weaknesses: Pictures often come out fuzzy or grainy. Optical viewfinder does not have zoom capability.
Summary: We bought this camera about a month ago because it was inexpensive and had pretty good reviews. Our 12-year-old son took it on a weeklong conference and used it extensively. We have used it before and since on road trips and around the house. It is very easy to take reasonable-quality pictures with this camera. Zooming in and out is easy and intuitive. The camera is ready to take a picture almost immediately after being turned on, which is a great improvement from our old Olympus, and the flash recharges pretty quickly between photos.

Naturally, LCD screens are hard to see on very sunny days, but the optical viewfinder (which I prefer, in general) does not zoom. So when you want to zoom in on something on a sunny day, you won't be able to see how the picture will come out until after it's taken.

We have not yet depleted the batteries that came with the camera, but we're planning to pick up some high-quality rechargeables for the camera.

The one flash feature I miss in this camera is the "fill in" flash, for situations where the subject of the photo is backlit.

But all in all, it's a great little camera for the price. I highly recommend it for teens, beginners, and people who are shy of all the high-tech features.

Its smaller then I really thought it would be, but it takes really nice pictures, and the video feature is pretty cool. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a digital camera

3 Star ReviewVery easy-to-use Digital Camera Kodak C310
Strengths: easy-to-use, cost-effective, small enough to carry easily. Looks fine. Good for beginners. Quality looks good.
Weaknesses: no optical zoom
Summary: Kodak C310 is easy to use and an entry level digital camera. The image quality is good as this price level. It is a perfect camera with compact size and style. Battery life is ok and it is powered by 2 AA batteries so no more worry about it since we can always replace the batteries anywhere. It has no optical zoom. Only 5x digital zoom is a bad thing I do not like.
