Kodak Easyshare C310Strengths: nice size and price Weakness: some photos turn out fuzzy I was looking for a good beginner camera with an affordable price and I found it. With just a few minutes of reading the manual I was ready to take pictres. It is a nice size and affordable price. The software is nice. I am able to fix the red eye and the photos look great. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Very easy-to-use Digital Camera Kodak C310Strengths: easy-to-use, cost-effective, small enough to carry easily. Looks fine. Good for beginners. Quality looks good. Weakness: no optical zoom Kodak C310 is easy to use and an entry level digital camera. The image quality is good as this price level. It is a perfect camera with compact size and style. Battery life is ok and it is powered by 2 AA batteries so no more worry about it since we can always replace the batteries anywhere. It has no optical zoom. Only 5x digital zoom is a bad thing I do not like. 67% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Kodak C310 - nice little camera!Strengths: Small, comfortable size. Easy and intuitive controls. Inexpensive price tag. Weakness: Pictures often come out fuzzy or grainy. Optical viewfinder does not have zoom capability. We bought this camera about a month ago because it was inexpensive and had pretty good reviews. Our 12-year-old son took it on a weeklong conference and used it extensively. We have used it before and since on road trips and around the house. It is very easy to take reasonable-quality pictures with this camera. Zooming in and out is easy and intuitive. The camera is ready to take a picture almost immediately after being turned on, which is a great improvement from our old Olympus, and the flash recharges pretty quickly between photos. 78% of readers found this review helpful. DecentStrengths: Takes good pictures if you can get it still Weakness: battery life Eitehr its me, or my camera just sucks up battery life. Ive had this camera for 2 days, and I am satisfied with the pictures it takes (when you can hold it still). I need to find some good batteries built for digital cameras that will last me longer than a day! 83% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Kodak EasyShare C310 4MP Digital CameraStrengths: User-friendly! Fixed-focus & high quality pictures! Weakness: None! Checking out several digital cameras, Kodak is my first and last choice. I'm happy with this camera because of its 4.0 megapixels, 5x digital zoom, simplicity, low price and quality pictures. It is great with enough features and options for people to start digital photography. Very easy to operate and the pictures are sharp and well balanced for both day-time and night-time shots. I have been 100% satisfied with this camera in all settings and environments. I would strongly recommend for those with limited budgets and want an awesome little camera. 95% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Great little digital cameraStrengths: size, ease of use, included software Weakness: no manual override settings I shopped around for quite a while before deciding on the Kodak Easyshare C310 Digital Camera. I had a certain amount of money budgeted to spend so I felt the C310 was my best choice as far as picture quality and ease of use. The software that's included with the camera allows the user to take out red eye and make other changes in the pictures to improve the quality. Add-ons that you can purchase are a printer dock or camera dock to meet your particular needs. 93% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Kodak Easyshare C310
Strengths: Inexpensive, easy to use, good design, supports SD memory.
Weakness: Indoor pictures are fuzzy, no optical zoom, battery life is a little short.
The Kodak Easyshare C310 is a very beginner-friendly model, and should be your first if you don't have any experience with digital cameras.
It's very barebones, but has most of the important features your average shutterbug would look for. Sporting a slot for SD card expansion (as opposed to the expensive XD), this camera can hold hundreds of photos up to 4 megapixels. Picture quality is good overall, but it blurs easily if you can't keep your hand still, if you're not in a properly-lit area, or if you're in an area that's too bright.
The only reason why I would not recommend this camera is for the fact that it does not have optical zoom, instead opting for digital zoom. Optical zoom is equivalent to looking at something through a magnifying glass or telescope; digital zoom is the computer simply enlarging the image, greatly diminishing the quality in the process. The 30-second video clips you can record with this also don't have sound, but what did you expect for under $100? I also wish it came with a case instead of a hand strap, but most others don't either.
All in all, the Kodak Easyshare C310 is a great camera for the budget-conscious and amateur photographers.
