D-555 Zoom Digital Camera w/ILP -100 Printer

Strengths: Great picture quality, easy to print from camera to printer. Camera easy to use and view images. Great zoom features. Quick printing from camera to hard copy. Battery charging from the printer dock.

Weakness: Should be supplied with more than just a 16 meg memory card. Rechargeable batteries should be included. More printing supplies would make the kit more appealing. should be SD card compatable.

Overall it is a great value. I'm not in favor of there own memory card (XD), why not have a standard such as the (SD) card that is used by many devices other than cameras. Such as PDA, etc. I believe that the D-555/ILP-100 Printer is easier to use than the Kodak Easy Share system. I have tried both and prefer the Olympus. Except for the weaknesses listed, I find it a great value for the money.

First serious digital camera

Strengths: Great price, many features, inclusive package, mainstream widespread brand, easy to find Kodak printer expendables, Panorama function

Weakness: 16 meg Xd memory, some image distortion

I just bought this on sale for the low price of $179.

I am very excited about using this camera having just recently purchasing it with its printer dock. It feels solid, though it is very small in size. Batteries seem not to be drained too quickly. I really enjoy the panorama function.

Oh, I just purchased the 512 meg High speed Xd card for $45 including shipping.

The camera continues to impress me. However, I still haven't used the printer and the dock yet; they seem to involved for me at the current moment.

One Great Camera/Printer Combo

Strengths: extremely easy to use, large picture screen, great results

Weakness: comes with 16 MB XD card

This camera takes super photos, it is easy to use, the zoom function and photo function can be operated one handed. The printer is fast and produces very clear photos. Both printer and camera are top-notch.

D-555 digital camera with printer

Strengths: easy and quick to use

Weakness: the camera comes only with a 16mb memory card

I found that after reading the manuals the camera was very easy to use. Very easy to figure out, after reading. Printing times is between 60-90 seconds and the quality is better than I expected. I would recommend this printer to intermediate photo people, or those who want something easy and quick to use.
