Pentax ist ds2Strengths: easy to use learning curve was quick, very similar to using a 35mm, lense changability quick and easy, fits very comfortable in holding for use, viewfinder is large and playback exceptional, love it Weakness: price as only for the body no lense included I wanted to get the pentax in order to use all my 35mm lenses. Strengths: Easy to use great picture quality.Fast start up.Very good photo software for working in RAW format.Easy to use menus.Nice to be able to use my old K 1000 lenses.
Weakness: iso 100 would have been nice and support for a card lager than 1 GB.Hope for a firmware update for this if possible.
I have had this camera for five months and still have a hard time putting it down.The quality of the photo's is amazing a big change from usuing a P&S to this and it fits in your hands so well.Very solid camera doesn't feel cheap.
