Strengths: It's a true Leica
Weaknesses: Though pocket-sized, why not adding RAW-Mode?
Summary: 2006-06-14 11:03:55 28mm-Lens, razor-sharp (in relation to size of the camera) in good light;
excellent colours and contrast (natural mode) which means less work in Photoshop; joy to use;
pretty fast; very good video mode for size (in 16:9-mode); Anti-Shake works fine;
excellent Screen with shooting-over-the head-mode and close to no lag in the display;
flash better than you might assume considering its size,
packed with PS4 Elements and not a company self-made program that you won't use anyway;
quality (feeling of using something special);
therefore good value for money.
Weaknesses:
Sound of Zoom annoying;
some softness in corner of the lens sometimes detectable, Slow-shutter mode buried in the menu (why anyway?);
and though I don't know of any pocket-sized cam with a RAW-Mode,
why not being the first one, Leica?;
battery door: unnecessarily cheap quality
100% Recommendation.
