Canon PowerShot SD20 5 Megapixel Compact Camera -...

Strengths: Size, fits easily into pocket or purse. Resolution is sharp

Weakness: Small LCD screen makes reviewing dificult.

Compact size means you won't leave this camera at home. Have only used the automatic settings, but I have obtained sharp and clear photos in several light settings indoors as well as outdoors. Easy to follow manual. Software disk included for downloading prints to your computer.

Canon PowerShot SD20 5 Megapixel Compact Camera -...

Strengths: Size, weight and price

Weakness: SD card with only 32MB

SD20 has almost everything in its compact body, even a tripod socket. It would have been perfect if it were equipped with a larger LCD screen, viewfinder and optical zoom (impossible, I know). Price (I bought it at $252) is not bad too. In terms of operational feeling, start-up is quick enough, but it pauses a bit when switching to the playback mode from the shooting mode.

Canon PowerShot SD20 5 Megapixel Compact Camera -...

Strengths: Small, lightweight, compact, attractive, and 5.0 megapixels!

Weakness: No view finder and no optical zoom, but hey who really needs one?

The Canon SD20 is PIMP! The smallest camera with 5.0 megapixels - makes the SONY cameras seem way overpriced. Quality and ease of use are number one! Very compatible with both Windows and Mac users. I love the Zen Gray color, more of a Gun Metal finish.

Canon PowerShot SD20

The new Canon PowerShot SD20 updates last year's SD10 model with higher resolution and a few feature tweaks. I was impressed by the image quality and resolution from this tiny digital camera, it produces very nice-looking images. There are tradeoffs though, as it lacks a zoom lens, has no optical viewfinder, and only modest battery life. Overall though a fine little digital camera for highly...
