Strengths: Super resolution and outstanding color
Weaknesses: Haven't found one yet
Summary: I just got this camera and haven't had a chance to road test it much, but so far I am very pleased with it. It's small but very solid and fits in my hands perfectly. The resolution is incredible, the 48x zoom lens amazing and the color results I've seen so far are stunning. Took some pics of the spring flowers outside my front door and a portrait of a friend and can't say enough about the wonderful quality of the shots. I can read all the text on the 2.5" display and know the onboard help menus are going to really improve my photography skills. I can't wait to take it to the beach in a couple of weeks and really test it out. A great buy and really versatile.

Strengths: - Low price compared to competitive products. - High Resolution (8MP) - High zoom : 48x (6x Optical & 8x Digital) - Compact and stylish - 2.5" LCD Display
Weaknesses: - Too few settings.
Summary: I bought this camera recently at Staples and very amazed with its quality and performance. It comes with 16MB internal memory. The normal quality pictures are taking about 1MB size.

Zoom is excellent (6X optical x 8x digital = 48x total). The pictures pretty clear even at maximum zoom, of course you need to hold it very carefully without shaking.

It has the PictBridge Software which works in both Windows XP and vista. I think it also works on Mac per the product specs. I am not using this as most of the cameras and printers can read the memory cards directly these days.

Overall, it is a great product for regular use.

Strengths: Easy to use. Can remove red eye right on the camera. Many shooting modes to use. Big screen on back of camera which is nice for viewing. Very large optical zoom (6x), which is rare.
Weaknesses: A little on the heavy side. Bigger than most other cameras b/c the lens does not go flush to rest of camera. Not a big deal to me though.
Summary: 2008-01-30 08:53:05 I bought this camera just before Christmas 2007. The first one that I bought, was a dud with being very fuzzy and never focused. Staples gladly took it back and replaced it for me. This camera is great, worlds better than the first one! I might not give a good review if not for the replacement camera, which is very nice. I tried to be impartial, b/c who knows if someone at the store dropped the box or something. So lesson learned is to make sure to try it out right away.

Takes very clear pictures, has nice "closeup" shooting mode, even can take an excellent self portrait by holding at an arms length and taking your own pic. I like the red eye removal being right in the camera, so that saves extra work in not having to fix it later.

I would highly recommend, especially for the money. I got a great deal on it and no other competitor's pricing came even close.

Strengths: This camera is very user friendly and feels very durable.
Weaknesses: The functions are a little hard to get to but once you figure them out it is very simple.
Summary: This camera has really enhanced the quality of all my pictures and on line photo albums I make. The quality and functionality of this camera is very user friendly and puts my 2 year old camera to shame.

3 Star ReviewHp Photosmart MZ67
Strengths: Nice Design, 6X Optical Zoom + 8 Digital, crystal clear 2.5" lcd screen, 8.0 mega pixels
Weaknesses: A bit thick, and slightly fitting into the compact category. not many shooting features, and poor video function.
Summary: i got this camera from staples for a pretty reasonable price. this camera started at $199 when it came out and my reaction was for what? because other than the zoom and the 8 mp this camera is quite dull. It doesn't offer many shooting modes like other cameras do around this price range. they give you ten modes that you can get with other cameras for less cash. they weren't thinking outside the box at all, and there is only one unique feature, which is the super close up mode. My other Beef with this camera is the video recording mode records sound, but does not playback sound. you have to transfer the video on to a pc to hear the audio. for $200 they could have at least build some speakers in the damn thing.

To Sum it all up. the zoom is good, 2.5" LCD good, picture quality is good, but other than that its a pretty dull camera you get no bang for your buck. You can get these features plus more for the same or less $$ with other cameras.
