Strengths: 1.Really cheap 2.Photo Quality is very good. 3.I purchased a set of 4 rechargeable NIMH Batteries and a charger. The battery gives me a service of about 200-250 minutes of shooting hours.
Weaknesses: 1. Night shot almost impossible.
Summary: 2003-06-27 06:49:21 The camera is on the whole very good! I was particularly lucky to get a heavy discount and the camera with the CP 10 printer ,charger,64 MB additional flash, rechargeable batteries in total cost me about 200€.

Thanks to Canon!

Strengths: Optical zoom, CF, NiMH purchased, UW housing purchased
Weaknesses: Sometimes picture doesn't take. Verification necessary.
Summary: As a whole, very happy with this. Value per dollar extremely high. 5x7 photos of high quality. Considering 2x expense to get 8x10 made this a great first digital for me.

Strengths: This camera is VERY easy to use. it has optical zoom, which is very desirable. Even though the pixels are relatively low, it takes very clear pictures.
Weaknesses: I don't know if it's just this camera or all digital cameras, but it eats batteries like crazy. You need the rechargeable batteries and a charger.
Summary: This is my first digital camera. I picked it up and it's so easy to use, I took quality pictures the first time. I love all the features and have nothing but good to say about it. I love this camera! It's well worth the cost and the low number of pixels do not detract from this camera at all.

Strengths: Very user friendly
Weaknesses: Battery life is terrible
Summary: Overall I really like this camera.I bought it just for web use in advertising my products.I neede a camera with both optical zoom and macro ability and the A10 has both. This is my first digital camera and I'm very impressed so far.One problem that I might note is that the battery life is extremely short (5 shots using LCD and flash indoors with energizer 1700 Nimh rechargeables and about the same with a new set of alkalines)I have spoken with a tech at Canon and he has told me to send it back if the problem continues.Don't let this stop you from getting one I haven't heard any similar comments from other owners and really like this camera other than that.I bought mine on the web from BUYDIG.COM along with a starter kit;however If I was to purchase all over again I would buy the camera from them the case from circuit city the battery charger (energizer) along with two sets of rechargeable 1700 Nimh batteries from target and a A/C adapter locally (camera city in hampton VA)they had these at $59 which is cheaper tha I found them elsewhere.

3 Star ReviewExcellent camera for amateurs auto adjusts settin ...
Strengths: Great Menus, easy to use, good quality pictures
Weaknesses: Takes long to capture picture, night shots are impossible, drains batteries
Summary: Excellent camera for amateurs

auto adjusts settings well enough to have great pictures,

good bang for the buck

disadvantages are that it takes about 2 seconds from after button release to actual capture of picture... this lag might be annoying

also night shots are nearly impossible, must be upclose to be able to capture anything even though you can see it perfectly fine on the LCD

again, a good beginning camera, not for expert use
