Strengths: Very easy to use. I had the camera for over a month before I opened the owners manual. All of the features that I needed were increadably easy to figure out.
Weaknesses: Haven't found any yet.
Summary: I needed a new camera, so I went to the store and this was the cheapest 3+ Mega Pixel that they had, so I purchased it. I also purchased a 128M card for it.

I left on vacation 3 days later and fell in love with this camera. With the extra card, it holds over 100 pictures. I took over 550 pictures (I had my laptop with me.) The quality is excellent. The pictures were both inside and outside. I have not experienced the problems others have experienced.

The recharable battery that comes with it lasts a very long time. Get the docking station to keep it charged.

This was the first digital camera that I have purchased, and I love it.

Strengths: Very easy to use. High quality pictures on inkjet even up to 8X10.
Weaknesses: Haven't found any yet
Summary: I was using the camera within 5 minutes of opening the package. My 9 year old son was printing pictures after 1/2 hour. The dock is a no-brainer - it keeps the camera charged and makes transfers a breeze. Even the video feature is easy to use and tranfer. Highly recommended!!

Strengths: Easy to use controls, excellent mid to upper level picture quality, many nice features.Easy share software program is excellent for storing / organizing and basic editing. great price. a real value
Weaknesses: lens cap, power options. case included would be nice
Summary: Have been using another kodak digital , 2.1 mp.dc series

DX4330 is huge improvement in all aspects,: ease of use, logical controls, picture qualty, flexability. would be perfect for my needs if they had ( as indicated in manual) the 3v. ac adapter. I document my artworks with camera for loading onto computer, batteries/chargers arent really that important to me.I only take snapshots once and awhile. not a big photo emailer.Like the ability to change lenses.

Strengths: Quality Pictures. I love the on-board mic. It's great for adding sound to your videos. Easy to use even without reading manual.
Weaknesses: None. A supplied case would be nice though.
Summary: In response to some of the problems others seem to be having: You can remane pictures and you can move them. Also LCD screen does stay lit if you choose that option through the menu.

Strengths: I like how it's compact and easy to use the quick downloading is a snap.
Weaknesses: Non-lit LCD display makes using this camera a guessing game. It's a good thing you can delete unwanted pictures as you go.
Summary: The only weakness is a big weakness and that is the LCD display, while taking indoor pictures you virtually CAN NOT see thru the display at all.

This gets to be an anoying problem VERY quickly.

Strengths: I've been looking for a camera that would take great pictures to put on the net. I bought the DX-4330 and took my first picture. I was impressed and can't wait to start my business.
Weaknesses: Haven't run across any yet.
Summary: I've looked up prices for about 3 months now and I payed the higher price for the DX-4330. I like the way it looks and feels. I believe I made the right choice for what I need from a great camera.

Strengths: Extremely easy to use. This camera is perfect for the beginner or intermediate digital camera user. What more could you ask for?
Weaknesses: It is more "temperamental" than a 35mm camera in that it isn't a "point-and-shoot" camera (that is what Kodak told me when I asked them why I get more blurry pictures than my 35mm).
Summary: Now don't get me wrong. I would be really upset if I got a lot of blurry pictures, but you know it's blurry right away and you delete and retake. Simple. Most of the blurriness came from me shooting motocross racing. I emailed Kodak and they were very helpful and gave me tips on how to combat that problem. I've been practing and now I don't have any problems at all. There is a little more to this camera than a plain 35mm, but the nice thing is, when you first get this camera, take it everywhere and practice with it - you don't need to keep those pictures, but then you'll be ready when the time comes for the perfect shot and you will know your camera well by that time and capture that "perfect" photo. I am amazed at this camera and am totally happy with it. Next, I'm buying the different lenses for it (another plus!). I want to be able to get right into the "action" and take close-ups without getting run over on the race track, so the ad-on lenses will be perfect - I can't wait! This camera is so nice and easy to use. I often take pics of the neighbor kids over here riding 4-wheelers or whatever, I go into my office, print them out and put them in a little album for them to take home with them - they love it! And, so do their parents! It's fun for all kinds of things - I'm taking more pictures now than ever! All I am trying to say is, experiment with it - you'll be amazed at what this camera can do!

Strengths: This camera is very easy to use. Using the manual, I figured the basics in only 20 minutes. Compact, as some digitals(the Sony, for instance) are so small they are difficult to work with.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: The camera is especially good for beginners to digital cameras. Instructions are easy to follow, controls are set up in a sensible manner, and uploading to the computer is child's play with the docking station. Spend the extra 80 bucks and get the docking station, which includes carrying bag(you'll wonder how you got along without it) and tripod.

The pictures are very clear and I printed photo lab quality pictures using my inkjet printer. Even my brother, a diehard 35mm user for over 20 years, was impressed. I'm still only familiar with the basic features, but I highly recommend it. Awesome camera. Buy an extra memory card and install it so you won't have to worry about running out of memory

Summary: DX4330 - A masterpiece. I hooked up the

lens attachment to it and then duct-taped

it to my 1250 mm Maksutov telescope.

The result was an unbelievable

portrait of Mars, the red planet.

No other camera can match it in its

price range.

Strengths: Absolutely magificent! Extremely easy to use; I've never used a digital camera before and I learned every aspect of this camera in one day without reading the manual! Weaknesses above are not true.
Weaknesses: None. All the weaknesses listed above are true but can be resolved. Read below for more info.
Summary: For starters, some people say that the LCD view is bad in low light. Yes, this is true and it can be sometimes hard to see in it while using it as a viewfinder, however there is a seperate viewfinder in there that regular cameras use, so bingo! Just use that. I also saw people saying that indoors pictures are bad. Yes, this too is true however by default the flash is turned off which is the cause of it. If there is low-light, turn on the flash and put the camera in nightvision mode and bingo! Once you do these two things, the pictures are magnificent. Also, the exposure can be raised if pictures still turn out dark. I bet that everyone who made a review above that said something bad about this camera didn't read the manual. PLEASE DO OR ELSE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF THE CAMERA! Pictures come out crystal clear on a computer; if a picture is too dark you can lighten it up after the picture has been taken! You can view the picture on the camera after you've taken it. You can present a slideshow, hook the camera up to your TV and view the pictures you've taken. You can print out photo-realistic pictures from your printer if you have a photo-realistic printer, you can e-mail your friends a picture, and do tons of other cool things with this camera! PLEASE BUY IT!

Strengths: I love using this camera. It's very basic but that's all that wanted. To my eye, it takes great pictures, even 8" x 10"'s that I've printed on a old printer.
Weaknesses: The LSD screen is not very good in daylight situations, otherwise I don't find a problem.
Summary: I would buy this camera again if it was my first purchase. With a little practice, I would probably move up to a more expensive camera with more manual features. But for the price, it's a great camera.

Strengths: Cheap and easy to move pics anywhere with the SD Card feature.
Weaknesses: VERY POOR INDOORS, and very poor zoom ability. Pics look awful when you are zooming into something at a distance because the pics come out dark even when outside.
Summary: I would definately do more research next time I make a camera purchase. It has served me well through out my time but when I needed to have great pics indoors it has failed me.

Strengths: Sharp resolution for prints up to 8x10; surprising features for a basic point-and-shoot camera; priced right; long battery life (leaving the LCD off) for a 2-battery camera.
Weaknesses: LCD can be washed out in bright sunlight; optical viewfinder is too small and has an annoying LED right next to it; lens cap seems a bit flimsy; could have better low-light focusing.
Summary: Image quality is quite good for a 3.1MP camera, though not the best in the class. But for the price, it's hard to fault. The 3X optical zoom lens adds some creative fun, but is somewhat unimpressive compared to some rival cameras that can have up to 10X zoom! Overall, though, the DX4330's images will please just about anyone. They're sharp, rich in color and produce brilliant prints. I'm still in awe of this camera's surprising image quality.

The long exposure settings, the exposure compensation settings and the image rotation sensor are unexpected features in such a basic camera...and are welcome additions.

The LCD is bright and fluid in average lighting situations, but bright sunlight can wash out the display and if there isn't enough ambient light...the LCD can be too dark. But then, that's typical of many digital cameras, so it's not a major issue.

At night, the AUTO setting is useless. If you want a decent picture and want to use the long exposure feature, you MUST use the Landscape setting. AUTO won't focus worth beans. :)

Overall, this camera is a bargain buy considering what you get. If you want slightly more zoom and slightly more features, wait for the upcoming DX6340. But if you can't wait and find that the DX4330 is all you need...you can't go wrong. It's a great camera for novices and amateurs.

Strengths: Ease of use,Great Picture Quality
Weaknesses: None
Summary: This camera is by far the best 2.0 megapixel camera under $200.00. From reading the previous reviews, some are not accurate. I've researched cameras for 3 weeks now. This is truly the best one. After buying it, I was right. The lens cap is not a problem, just learn how to use it people. It locks into place, simple. And renaming pictures on your computer, easy! C'mon people, take a class. Really! I took pictures out of the Kodak software and saved them in Paintshop Pro to edit. And renamed it. Easy as reading your email! The different camera features, such as landscape, night, and sport are awesome. I took indoor pictures, and had no problems whatsoever. Learn the camera, read the instuctions, and fire away. The LCD screen may be dark indoors, but think about it people. If you are not in a well lit room, of course it's going to be dark!
