My First DigitalStrengths: Large screen, slightly bigger, higher resolution Weakness: hard to learn all options I have alwys used a 35mm camera for all my pictures and was in need of special attributes in a camera. Most people want the smallest camere they can get, but my hands are slightly larger and i dont have good feeling in my hands so i needed a camera that i could hold comfortably and this camera fit that requirement it also had the biggest viewing screen for my old eyes. the price was cheeper than i intended to pay for a camera but after shopping several stores and looking at a 14megapixel we retuned and bought this one. it has more options than i need making the camera hard to learn but im sure my opinion will change with time. 80% of readers found this review helpful. Over all not bad for the price and my usage.Strengths: Light in weight and easy to use. Weakness: Picture quality is weak but can be improve with the proper settings via the camera's menu. Intially, I was not happy with the picture quality. However, when I bought a different SD Card, it improved considerably. Also, I like the fact the you can use rechargeable or Lithium AA batteries which are less expensive than other camera rechargeable battery packs. 67% of readers found this review helpful. Mar 19, 2010 Most of these small cameras operate on AA batteries. I used rechargeable batteries in my camera and carried 2 extras in case they ran down. My camera, however, is now broken after 6 years, because I put it in my pocket w/o the case being on it. Beware: this may also break YOUR camera. Carry in it's case, not in your pocket.

No problems with my new L20Strengths: good feel, huge display, great price Weakness: a lot of features that can be confusing to master For under $100, I think this is a great deal. Nikon makes a great product and is a very solid brand. Read one review that was pretty negative, perhaps they got a bum unit. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Grainy DisplayStrengths: Small. Weakness: Grainy display screen, Pics out of focus. Hard to comprehend manual. The Nikon is not worth the bother. Will be returning camera tomorrow. Just because a camera is priced under $100 doesn't mean it should be cheap and hard to use. The pictures should at least be in focus when you point and shoot. My 1960s instamatic camera was way better than this. 57% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Camera Labs - Nikon COOLPIX L20 review
Nikon’s COOLPIX L20 is one of the cheapest digital cameras from a big-brand name and since launch has become a best-seller. It packs 10 Megapixels, a 3.6x optical zoom and a generous 3in screen into a low-priced but great-looking body. The fully-automatic operation will suit those who want to take photos without worrying about any technicalities, although the L20 is lacking a couple of features... Top

Nikon Coolpix L20 | Red
The Nikon Coolpix L20 is the mid model in Nikons Coolpix Life series, which is a line of powerful and simple to use digital cameras. It is very similar in design to the lower model L19 but has a larger 10 megapixel resolution and larger 3" LCD screen compared to the 8 MP and 2.5". It features a NIKKOR 3.6x optical zoom lens which gives great quality shots for group shots or close up portraits.... Top

Solid camera
Strengths: Nikon quality. Good lens and low light photos.
Weakness: Flash has limited focal length in dark light situations.
Very good camera for the money. Optics are superior to other brands I have used in the past. I have used Nikon cameras in the past and this one does not disappoint.
