EasyShare-one zoom digital camera

Strengths: The camera is very light and thin. The LCD can be rotated, and I felt it's pretty cool. The time to turn on the Camera is ok. Overall, pretty awesome item!

Weakness: It's only 4MP, I hope it could be 5MP or even higher.

This camera has good review of website, as far as I am concerned. It is great for "home use", and comes with extra features. Also I like the size of the camera since it's very small. It is very convenient to be carried on.

Just What I Was Looking For !!!

Strengths: Very Good Pictures, Very Good Video and Audio, Good Sized Memory and Rotating Screen.

Weakness: Slow Start-Up and Battery Life

I was looking for a digital camera with the following:
1 - A rotating screen for taking pictures when you can't
stand behind the camera.
2 - Video capture with Audio.
3 - Small size (compaired to my 5-year old camera).
4 - More Mega Pixels (old camera has 2.3Meg).
5 - Cheep memory.

The Kodak Easy Share One covered all of the above. The picture quality is better than my old camera, both outdoor and especially indoor. My indoor shots would come out very dark, adjusting the white balance was the only way to get some decent shots. So far the indoor shots with the Kodak Easy Share One have been of a MUCH better quality.

The video quality is also a really nice suprise. I have a 8mm camcorder and the quality of the video that I have taken with the Kodak Easy Share One is just as good if not better. It does not have the features like stability, low light and the length of the recording time, but for not having to carry around both a camera and a camcorder it does really well.

Memory - Wow 256Meg on board memory that holds quite a few pictures. I also picked up a 1GIG SD card for cheep and that holds 28 min of video or 800 pictures. That is a lot of memory space to hold your pictures and video.

Size - It is smaller than my old camera. It will fit easly into a pant pocket. It's not the smallest camera made but its not bad.

The short falls I was expexting and with the proper preparations there not that bad. The battery life is short, one battery lasted for about a day of taking pictures and video and looking at them. Kodak supplies 2 batteries with the camera and I also bought a third. If you keep the spare batteries charged AND with you, you will not have a problem.

The time to take the first picture is on the long side. If the picture is not anticipated then you will miss your chance. Once the camera is ready then you can go from picture to picture pretty quickly. Its that first shot that can be a problem if your not ready.

Overall I'am really happy with the Kodak Easy Share One. I haven't even used some of the other features like the wireless capability.

Great Camera

Strengths: 3 inch touchscreen display. 256 Mb internal Memory 2 batteries with charger.

Weakness: None so far

3 inch display with touchscreen is great feature at this price. The wireless card allows you to email the photos to anyone if a wireless network is in range.The camera comes with 2 batteries and a charger so no need to spend money on batteries. The case is great to protect camera and the body is well made. Also the 256 Mb memory takes about 145 pictures, so no need to buy additional memory. At $185 after rebates this is a great deal.

Pretty good camera

Strengths: LCD is very big, comes with two batteries, WiFi idea is neat, has been easy enough to use so far

Weakness: LCD resolution isn't too hot, not sure about the usefulness of the WiFi

This is my second Kodak camera, and I feel that take pretty decent pictures. This one is a little smaller than my last one, with a huge 3 inch LCD touch screen. It has a lot of cool, unique features for a digital camera. However, at this point I think the features are more high tech coolness factor stuff than super useful functional items. I like the camera overall though, and perhaps I will grow into the features more over time.

Kodak Easyshare one

Strengths: Easy, Fast, Great Pictures

Weakness: None

I wanted a good camera that was easy so my family could use it also. I read many reports (who hasn't) and even Time rated this an excellent mid-line camera and I have to agree.

Some of you say it only has 4mb pixels. Come on, 20" x 30" prints? If you plan on printing bigger prints get a mega pixel camera. I think for most people, this is a good size.

Others say 3X zoom? Yes I was concerned but 3X Optical (10X total) but with the 4mb pixels, you can zoom in to print/view and it still looks great. I am satisfied.

The internal 256mb is great but I bought a fast 1gb SD card along with a USB SD reader/writer so that I did not have to connect the camera to the PC to transfer the pictures. It automatically writes to a memory card before internal memory.

This 3" display is great and protecting it was great idea. Don't wait for the screen to refresh to take fast pictures.

The only small issue Kodak is going to fix is the Red Eye flash. There is a single button to turn it on but you must also configure the camera via the menu to activate this feature. That is OK once you know it BUT the menu setting does not stay once you turn the Camera off. It is supposed to and that is what Kodak is going to do in a future firmware upgrade. So for now, it is a 2 step process to active the red flash.

Kodak EasyShare One

Strengths: Huge 3in touch screen and 256 internal memory

Weakness: night shots and thick size

The Kodak EasyShare one is a very good beginner's camera. The huge 3in screen makes taking and viewing pictures very easy. It comes with a lot of preset backgrounds for close up, in doors, documents, etc. The swivel screen comes in handy when taking overhead shots. The wifi card is interesting but not useful if you don't have access to any wireless connections. When you listen closely, the camera makes a weird noise near the lens. It sounds like it is constantly trying to focus. Night shots are ok but not too good. When taking in door photos in the night, the subject looks good, but the background is dark or just black. The camera is very thick in size or kind of big in general when compared to some of the other brands such as Canon or Sony. But overall the camera is good. Pictures come out clean and crisp.

EASYSHARE ONE

Strengths: takes OKAY pics

Weakness: No manufacturer support

This is a nice camera that takes pretty good pictures with little effort. The view screen is a nice size but very difficult to use outdoors, the camera could use a standard viewfinder. Kodak Easyshare software is cumbersome and invasive. It does not appear that there is any way to unload the camera without the proprietary software. Kodak support is non-existent so if there is a way they're not tellin' me. I wouldn't buy this one again.

Handy, modern camera

This is a great camera for "home use", and comes with extra features. This camera comes with internal memory (256mb), wireless capability, and an LCD screen that is "flexible/movable". This camera is a good size to hold in your hand, and this camera is relatively easy to use.

Kodak EasyShare One

Strengths: easy to play with; great looks; sleek design; wi-fi features; large screen; great price

Weakness: n/a so far

I bought this camera for upgrades. compared with my previous digital camera, it has a big screen. I have a better look of the objects I am taking picture of. I can download the previously taken pictures to the screen rather than to the computer to see the pictures. The wi-fi feature is a great plus. It's the biggest factor why I get the digital camera. I can save my emails and downloads pictures. It works great so far.

THE BEST WIFI CAMERA IN THE MARKET

Strengths: 3" LCD Wi-fi capability 256mb internal memory 2 Lion batteries

Weakness: could have larger optical zoom and megapixels

This camera overall is very unique in its class. I was about to take tons of pictures on its internal memory alone. The wifi capability was a little hard to configure, but after setting it up, it became very easy to use. In addition, the two batteries made sure that I would always have the power to capture the special moments.

Versatile Camera which I choose over Nikon P1

Strengths: Wi-Fi capibility, 3" LCD Wi-fi capability, Touch Screen, optional dock for multiple function

Weakness: Saving picture is slow and navigation menu could be better

I bought this camera after I had Nikon P1 which is also wi-fi capable because this camera has more functions than Nikon which I would like to try out. And I like it. Camera has 3" LCD screen, which is bigger and turnable. Camera also can connect to my home internet easily and email to people or Kodak gallery, which is also better than Nikon's. Third, I bought printer dock for camera, then I can transfer, charge and print when I put camera on dock. I like this feature even cost extra money.

However this camera is slower than Nikon when saving the pictures, even when I use Sandisk Ultra II SD card. This is my concern here because I took pics for my son, I need take pic continuously but this camera do take time to save before you can take next one.

Otherwise I think this is a good camera with a lot of fun.

EASYSHARE-ONE Zoom Digital Camera

Strengths: A Good Concept in Need of Fine Tuning

I ordered this as soon as it was available because I like having the latest gadget--this is my vice : )
Anyhow, like others have said, the colors are fantastic--very realistic and deep--not "plastic" like Canon. **please don't attack me for this Canon comment-I own a Canon and like it, but i need to work on the colors on the computer before printing** Skin tones on the Kodak look wonderful.
I live in the suburbs and there are several Wi-fi areas around town--I take pictures of my daughter and send them as I walk around. I save important e-mail addresses in the camera and it does the work. I understand that I can download pictures from Kodak's Easyshare site-where i have several albums-and will try this feature soon.
Essentially, the Kodak One is neat to use. I think in the future other brands will have this ability. I think Nikon has a wireless, but it cannot send e-mail--just download to a computer. Kodak takes it to the next logical step.

Cool camera

Strengths: Ample 3" LCD display, internal 256 memory, touch screen

Weakness: easy to lose stylus one uses w/the touchscreen

This is a very stylish camera and I really like the large LCD screen which makes it easy for even a child to take pictures. I also really like that this camera comes with 256 internal memory (why don't all camera have this?). Camera is also easy to use.

EASYSHARE-ONE Zoom Digital Camera

Strengths: easy organzation; convenient to use; good pictures; very large screen; lots of nice features

Weakness: pricy

I get this digital camera during dell's promotions. compared with other 4mp digital camera, EASYSHARE-ONE Zoom Digital Camera is quite pricy. Even after coupons, rebates, I have paid for more than 200. For that money, you can buy a higher pixel digital camera. But pixel is only one factor to consider when you buy a digital camera. The camera has lots of amazing features. Wi-fi allows me to send pictures to my friends and familys right after taking the pictures. It's convenient for me since I don't have to use computers to email pictures around. I can save and organize pictures on the camera. The full 3" screen is great. I can print directly from the camera.

awesome camera

Strengths: 3in lcd display wifi built-in 256mb memory

Weakness: 4mp wireless may take some time to configure heavy/bulky short battery life

When I first read about this camera I was interested in the features that it has to offer: wi-fi, large lcd display, built-in storage memory. So far I have been impressed.

While some people may claim that the 4MP resolution is small, I feel that it is more than adequate for what I need it to do: take 4x6s and occasional 8x10s.

I like the ability to edit photos on the camera and upload photos as you take them.

As far as the negatives of this camera: battery life and bulkiness -- I feel that these aren't as bad as some may claim. Sure it's not the thinest or lightest camera on the market, but it's small enough for my needs and the battery life is decent.

Great Camera

Strengths: Huge LCD, Two LiThium Batteries, Touch Screen, and above all, great price!

Weakness: Thickness.

Huge 3 inch LCD, Two LiThium Batteries, Touch Screen, Wireless transmission, with all these advanced features, it costs me only 220$ after Kodak rebate. It's a great deal.

Wireless and large LCD are power hogs, so make sure you got two batteries ready before action.

image qualities are not as sharp compared to my Canon G3, but more than enough for consumer level.
