Strengths: This is such a dramatic improvement over the 6mp, 12x version that you can't compare them. I bought this because I have trips planned to South America and Africa and don't want to miss anything.
Weaknesses: Only drawback I see is that the lens hood doesn't reverse onto to lens when it's not being used.
Summary: I ordered this camera from Beach Camera and couldn't have asked for a better price and better, faster service. Promised in 10 days, delivered in three!
I've got to practice some more but so far it's all that I need to capture some pretty amazing shots of action, scenery and micro-shots.
It's predecessor did great last year in Italy, Turkey and Greece so I expect even greater shots from this baby.
