Strengths: Takes great pics

had this for 1 year. For the money it's a good deal. This is a powerful SLR with many features you will find on a much more expensive pro camera like the canon A300 IS. All the modes and controls you would expect from canon are available. What I don't like about it: Video is decent in 720. However, Easy user navigation to select options. It g takes pictures very lively, I simply love this camera

THE GOOD: Optical image stabilization; good photo quality for its price. THE BAD: Slow shooting performance; bland feature set. THE BOTTOM LINE: The PowerShot A3000 IS is a good budget-friendly Canon compact if nothing else.
