Strengths: Everything! Size, quality, you name it!
Weaknesses: A lot of people complain about the optical zoom, however, frankly I never use zoom anyway
Summary: This is the perfect camera for taking along with you ANYWHERE! I first fell in love with it when my cousin came back from HK, over a year ago. (They seem to get the coolest stuff first!) Try not to stick the camera in a pocket with your keys, etc. Might scratch the LCD. Otherwise, this is the perfect camera!

3 Star ReviewI am satisfied with the S3's overall performance. ...
Strengths: Extremely portable and convenient. Great daytime/well-lit picture quality. Easy menu navigation. Great conversation piece.
Weaknesses: Poor night time photography. No tripod mount. Average durability. Average supplied Windows software.
Summary: I am satisfied with the S3's overall performance. It's size and sleek design is great. People still ask to hold it and check it out! Great for parties and get togethers. AVI movies with sound are acceptable and fun.

Be sure to use the protective black cloth bag. The LCD screen can get scratched easily (especially if it's in your pocket rubbing against your keys or sunglasses.) Beware of dusty or sandy places too. Lots of particles have gotten into the SD card slot (there's no extra protective cover.)

KEEP A STEADY HAND! Holding the camera very still is essential to getting the sharpest images with the S3. This is especially important when it comes to using the S3 at night or in dark places.

I did not like the software that came with the camera. Not solid and efficient. No Mac version. I opted for Windows XP default image importing and I also used the S3 successfully with iPhoto on my PowerBook.

Strengths: The camera is light weight, compact, well built and it is reasonably priced. Wonderful for travel.
Weaknesses: The "Dummy Card" is not included in the shipment as it was indicated in the Manual.
Summary: I would recommend this camera for any one who likes to travel light. The digital camera is light weight, versatile with zoom 4X, voice recording, recoding and snap shot, timer and world time zones as well as multi languages (English, French, Italian, German, Chinese and Japanese!)

Strengths: Very small and portable. Good picture quality with 3.2 mp. Easy menus and operation. Large 2inch display. The camera is vertually the size of a credit card that is 1/2 inch thick.
Weaknesses: Only one... no optical zoom. However, that is what you give up for the size.
Summary: I currently own a small olympus 5.0 megapixel camera which I am also very happy with. However, I wanted a smaller camera which I could easily carry in my front shirt pocket at work so I would always have it. This is perfect for that purpose. Also with 3.2 megapixels you can print a photo quality 8 by 10 picture. Most camera's this size only have 2 megapixels which means you can only print a 5 by 7. This camera is full of great features and even my wife could operate it without ever looking at the manual. Yes, it's that simply. It also has a built in microphone for making video clips. I would highly recommend this camera. But!!! keep in mind that due to its size you can not zoom. It has digital zoom but that is worthless because you can acomplish the same thing with your computer. If that's not an issue then you will be happy with this camera.

Strengths: Small and compact, a whopping 2 inch LCD screen
Weaknesses: Picture quality indoor or at night is very very disappointing. Picture comes out dull and colorless.
Summary: I spent $450 on this horrible camera when it first came out. Got a lot of compliments on the size but the quality sucks. Now, I'm forces to look elsewhere for another camera.

Strengths: Compact size
Weaknesses: No optical zoom
Summary: The compact size of this camera allows the user to carry a digital camera on almost every occasion. This camera takes great looking pictures. The casio EX-S3 has no optical zoom. While it does have 4X digital, it makes photos very grainy. Highly recommended, if you looking for a small camera to fit in your pocket for when the occasion arises.
