The flash settings on the Sony CyberShot DSC-HX100V are Auto, Forced Flash, Slow Syncro, No Flash, with a Red-eye Reduction option in the Main menu.

Great Camera but needs tweaking
Strengths: Outstanding zoom, quick focus, crisp photos, light weight, great panorama shots
Weakness: No provision for fill flash. Flash is either off or automatic. Lens cap falls off. Slow start-up. Pictures take long to process.
Shooting against light, such as at sunrise or sunset with a person or dog in front is impossible since the backlight tells the flash that there is enough light. Sony needs to include a "flash always on" provision.
