Canon EOS Rebel T3 Black SLR Digital Camera Kit w/18-55mm Lens
Strengths: The camera information displayed on the rear screen is very helpful when shooting a special shot. The Canon is light weight and easy to handle.
Weakness: After using the camera it is hard to find a weakness.
I like the ease in which to use the special feature knob.I also like the ease of downloading of pictures from the camera to the printer or computer and printing pctures as I select which them.

I love it
T3 Rebel is my first SLR camera. Although I've used point and shoot cameras for years, the quality of pics from this camera is superior. The fast and accurate auto focus is a pleasure. I do have to get used to carrying a larger camera. I am going to Italy

An ideal beginner dslr with very good IQ
I bought this camera mainly for astrophotography, and it probably is one of the best for the purpose because of its very low noise at high ISOs and long exposures. Apart from that, generally it gives consistently good images. Metering and auto WB are spot

Great product.
Auto focus doesn't always focus on what you want it to on the first attempt, but manuel configurations can correct it. Great opportunities to customize your settings for how you want to shoot.

Canon T3 all-around entry level DSLR
This is my first DSLR (coming from an advanced point-and-shoot) and I am very pleased. Picture quality is very good, even at higher ISO settings (up to ISO 800). The Q button allows quick access to all the basic settings for fast adjustments, making it ve

Honest review
I read reviews and videos about this camera, most of them made using the standard kit lens. If you get this camera and stick a decent glass on it (17-55 for example), you'll take amazing pictures. The high ISO performance is very similar to those of the 1

Lot's of whistles and bells
Photos of foiliage are outstanding. Images are great. Once you learn the features it becomes much less intimidating and frustrating to use. Long learning curve because of the large number of features and capability. Time and use will mitigate the downside

Great Camera
I took this camera to 20 different 3rd world countries with me and it performed relatively flawlessly - of course you could have a few upgrades with a more expensive camera, but this unit has done the trick. Well done, Canon.

Canon Rebel T3 / EOS 1100D Full Review
In the last weeks of 2008, we reviewed Canon's Rebel XS SLR, a camera we felt to be a pretty well-rounded, despite a few quirks that led enthusiasts to look beyond the entry-level pricetag. Still available on closeout, the Rebel XS is now showing its age, and so the Canon T3 replaces that camera. As the new entry-level point to the company's SLR lineup, the T3 is an interesting design, gifting...
