Canon EOS 5D Mark II (Body only)

Crutchfield has collected 8 user reviews for this product with an average rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars. The most recent reviewer said, "I have been shooting (mostly landscapes) with a Canon T1i since that model first came out and have purchased several lens since. This camera came to me defective!

Adorama sent me a defective camera! They did nothing to reimburse me for the loss of not having a camera for a week! They had very poor customer service!

Focusing Screen

Strengths: Professional camera and looking forward to enjoying it to its full potental.

Weakness: The focusing screen seem to be very delicate for the price of the camera.

I purchased the Canon 5D Mark 2 a few weeks ago but I have had to return it because the focuring screen fell out. Otherwise its a great camera and I am looking forward to using the replacement.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II (body only)

THE GOOD: Excellent performance and photo quality; good video capture capabilities and quality. THE BAD: No built-in wireless controller; large spot meter; no built-in flash; more direct controls would be nice; AF system could use an update. THE BOTTOM LINE: A great follow-up to the 5D and top-flight full-frame camera, the Canon EOS 5D Mark II delivers the fluid shooting experience and fine...

DCRP Review: Canon EOS-5D Mark II

The Canon EOS-5D Mark II is a solid upgrade to its predecessor, and a great choice for Canon users looking to step up to a full-frame body. The Mark II has a whopping 21.1 Megapixel CMOS sensor (which isn't without a few issues), great build quality, full manual controls, HD movie recording, and more accessories than you could possibly afford. There aren't a lot of negatives, but they're all...

Canon EOS 5D Mark II Digital Camera Review

When Canon introduced the EOS 5D in August 2005 it was one of only two full-frame digital SLRs available (along with Canon's own 1D Mark II). Now Canon strikes back with the EOS 5D Mark II, ramping up resolution to 21.1 megapixels, jumping two processor...

Camera Labs – Canon EOS 5D Mark II review

Canon's EOS 5D Mark II is a powerful and feature-packed DSLR that represents a significant upgrade over the original 5D, and a tough rival in the growing 'affordable' full-frame market. The new Mark II may share essentially the same body and AF system as its predecessor, but almost everything else has been upgraded. The 21.1 Megapixel sensor is capable of recording a huge amount of detail given a...
