U-60

Strengths: Rugged, fast, simple to operate.

Weakness: Lack of manual control, JPEG too compressed. A bit heavy.

I am using this camera for two years now. I realy enjoy it. I don't use any protective cover for it, and take it with me onto siling, caving, climbing. The lens is well protected itself. Starting is fast, there is no zoom options, but the angle is wide, and you can use one hand for all operations. There is no view finder, but the display is excellent, high refreshing rate, hybrid, much better than on most common or even higher rated cameras. In water floats, rather than sinks. Wih plenty of lite, you can make some great fotos.

A very basic point & shoot model, it takes surprisingly good pictures considering its modest feature set. If you want a digicam that's easy to use and will shrug off dust, mud, or an occasional dunking, you should definitely check out the U60!
