Strengths: face detection
Weaknesses: lock zoom
Summary: this camera is the best, it takes great photos every and each time. the only thing that i didn't like is the auto zoom, because it forces you to take bad photos..!! other than that it's the best camera ever, i love it :)

Strengths: Super fast continuous shooting (burst) mode and video at 210 fps, perfect for analyzing movement and reviewing strategy. Good quality single shots in decent light. Great auto white balance. Huge zoom.
Weaknesses: Not great picture quality over ISO 200. Uses batteries quickly. Have to access most options through menu.
Summary: I have had this camera for three weeks so I don't yet know all that this camera can do. However, I am impressed by two things:

1. Its up to 40fps burst mode, though at a slightly reduced 7 megapixels. I have seen the 2 and 3 and even 5 megapixel burst mode images of other superzooms, and this camera's images are much better.

2. The super slow motion video at 210 fps. I took this to my niece's soccer game last weekend and was very impressed by the video output of this camera. It was perfect for figuring out what went wrong or right and why.

This camera will take a little time to get used to if you are used to Canon, Fuji, Panasonic, or Olympus super zooms. The options on the control dial are different and the menu options are also different. But this camera can do some things that those cameras can't do. If I were a coach or a trainer, I would buy one of these.
