#2 brand with #1 price!

Strengths: Quality lens, optical zoom, intuitive to use, great pics!

Weakness: Somewhat bulkier than many cameras w/similar specs, no Lithium-Ion rechargable battery included.

Overall this is a great camera! Kodak has always been my #2 favorite behind Sony (I used to sell Digicams). This camera has all the Kodak quality you'd expect at a really decent price (find for under $200). Only thing really lacking is a Li-Ion rechargable battery. Another great advantage is the use of SD Memory cards which cost less than Sony Memory Sticks and XD Memory.

great price for a great camera

Strengths: price, big lcd, compact design

Weakness: a little bulky, cheap sd card

bought this 5 mega pixel at a great price, plus it is a name brand. this camera's got a big lcd screen, and great picture quality. the design is very small, but it is not the credit card size type camera but it is still quite compact. great for the price.

Kodak C360 Digicam

Strengths: high resolution, cheap.

Weakness: dark pictures, quality is not good.

This is my second digicam. I previously had Canon A70. To be honest, I do not like picture quality. My old a70`s pictures are much better. I have taken many shots indoor, they are all dark an dpoor color. On the other hand, it is very easy to use. You can take video shots without any restrictions on the length. You can also use SD memory cards in it. It is small and compact, but as I said before, the picture qulaity is not what I expected. By the way, I bought this for $129 at Bestbuy.

Kodak Easy Share C360 Digital Camera

Strengths: Bought this camera for its size, price & name. Love the big Lcd screen, great pictures. Lots of features. Not credit card size but small enough for my use.

Weakness: Has red eye setting which is supposed to adjust the red eye even if the setting is not on. Didn't do a great job removing the red eye with setting off.

I would recommend this camera for features, size & price. My husband has a digital camera also but it is a bit bulkier. This was for me. It is easy to use and has nice size lcd screen.

Kodak C360 - Good Point and Shoot

Strengths: Ease of use, picture quality indicator, good battery life

Weakness: Does not double as webcam

Good basic point and shoot 5MP camera. Seems to be good in almost all light conditions (indoor/outdoor), and if you know how to use basic photo editing techniques this is not even an issue. Also the diffrent modes make taking good pictures easy. The picture quality indicator is good especially if you are taking really close in shots and do not have the steadiest of hands. It also takes decent video. The bundle I purchased came with USB cable, camera dock, rechargeable Ni-MH batteries, single use lithium battery pack, and the cable to connect the camera to a TV to show the pictures. For $200 the camera with the bundled extras was a good buy. I also purchased a 1GB memory card for $70 which stores around 600 photos at 5MP, and with the memory card's built-in USB adapter cables are not even necessary to transfer photos. With the addition of the memory card I am very happy with the camera over all, and even without it I am still pleased with my purchase.

A great camera for the guys who are not experts

Strengths: Easy to use, small and compact, use AA batteries and SD card.

Weakness: I can not find for the camera with this price

It works pretty well under low light conditions, and the viewfinder is bright and easy to see. The controls are intuitive and easy to use. It's really small and compact. Very good design to use AA batteries and SD card. This make it very easy to find the replacement. Much more than I expected.

Kodak EasyShare C360 Compact Camera

Strengths: Many. Battery usage, speed, quality of pictures.

Weakness: Few. A little slow writing to the memery card.

I was looking for a one-hand, point-and-shoot camera. Originally got a Nikon Coolpix 4600--could not stand 10+ seconds between flach shots. The Koday C360 is awsome. Still a point-and-shoot, but lots of flexibility. Easy to use, hold, shoot. Still working on the (provided) CRV3 lithium battery, with lots of play/learn time, easily 350+ picutes taken (most with flash), and three downloads of pix. Beautiful pictures; on camera red-eye reduction (whether use red-eye flash or not); on camera cropping. With 5MP capability you can continue to crop/zoom in & count nose hairs. Easyshare software is excellent & easy to use. My only criticism would be that the camera is a bit slow writing to the card--noticeable but has not caused any problems. All in all an excellent buy.

Super-fast flash - nice buffer!

Strengths: Speedy flash

Weakness: Flash coverage in low-light

I bought this camera because I was sick of slow flash recharge times on my old Casio camera. This one is SUPER-fast! I can take up to 5 pictures in 0.5 second increments (then you have to wait a bit for the buffer to be stored to your memory card). Exactly what I was looking for!
The only negative is the flash coverage is less than my old Casio (things don't come out quite as bright) but overall I'm very satisfied!

Kodak EasyShare C360 - Great Camera with clarity &...

Strengths: Ease of use.. great color and clairty... easy to see picture in Screen on back of camera.

Weakness: A little larger than some of the current mini-sized digital cameras... but not too heavy

This is a great camera for the beginner or experienced photographer. Works great indoors and outdoors for all types of photo's. I do lots of photo projects and this camera takes great photo's and very easy to use. 5.0 pixels allows you to make larger reprints and maintain clarity.

My tiny lttle kodak C360

Strengths: 1. Very easy to carry. 2. The picture quality is good. 3. Features are good for a point and shoot kind camera. 4. Battery life is better than my previous digital camera.

Weakness: The response time for the camera is little slower than my previous digital camera. The manual is not well written so sometimes for even smaller things one needs to call the tech. support.

I have used the camera for about 2 months now and the main feature or the common features of the camera works very well. The manual of this camera needs a full rewriting and that way it will be much easier for people to understand all the capabilities of the camera.

EasyShare C360

Strengths: Easy to use for the most part. Shoot a picture, press review button and either keep or delete. Menus are easy to access.

Weakness: -manual extremely poor -many options will default back to factory setting when shut off; must reset each time camera turns off -Center Zone Focus & Exposure Metering features don't work as claimed

Because Kodak put the instructions in 3 LANGUAGES in the manual, they sacrificed in depth explantion of features and how best to utilize them.

Every time camera shuts off need to reset any setting that are not the factory defalut ones, which means you need to set power off feature to long time setting to avoid having to reselect the options you previous chose.

Everytime camera shuts off you need to turn the mode dial on top the camera all the way to the off position, then back to an on position. If you allow the camera to shut off often to conserve battery life, the wear and tear on this dial and it electrical contacts will surely break down eventually.

In closeup mode, the Center Zone Focus feature doesn't work properly much of the time. Even though the object is directly in the center of the of LCD and inside the brackets that are displayed to show you the focus area, the camera will focus beyond the object to something beneath it -- often several inches beneath it!

The camera overexposes light colors as it is too sensitive to dark areas, I find, requiring it to be stopped down (exposure reduced) a ridiculous amount, and even then it sometimes needs to be more than -2, which is the maximum. Better to be slightly underexposed than over exposed as you can bring out details in underexposed areas using an imaging program, such as the one on the Kodak disk, but almost no detail can often be retreived from the overexposed light areas.

LCD is almost worthless outside as, again, the camera will overexpose light areas, leaving you uncertain if that is how the photo will appear once the shot is taken.

Color rendition is not true I have found. Pinks tend to show up as a purple-ish color and nothing I have found can correct this, even with white balance feature.

Exposure Metering feature, I am convinced, is almost worthless as whatever selection one chooses seems to have very little effect on the exposure and the way the image appears in the LCD before the shot is taken.

As for ease of operation, it is fairly intuitive. Also, the lens can focus at a distance as close as about 2 inches. Unfortunately, the depth of field is much too small, so only a very limited amount of what one sees will be in focus. If one uses closeup feature, one must zoom image after taking photo to determine if the object you are trying to capture is sharp or out of focus. Sometimes, and for reasons I have not yet been able to determine, the camera will actually increase the depth of field by changing the f stop number, which is almost always 2.7. (This number is displyed in the LCD.) The most I have seen is in the 3 range, but the manual has an illustration showing 4.5!

This brings me to customer service: You almost certainly will get an automated answer that is closest to your question. If you do get a real person to answer, they have clearly not read your e-mail or they are unable to comprehend your question (it appears their tech / customer support is outside the U.S.). Also, the people do not seem very knowledgeable about the product, especially if it is something that is beyond the most basic of camera operation questions.

Basically, a fairly easy to use point and shoot camera with some definite problems that may or may not bother people who use it. But, be weary of indoor shooting in low light at a distance more than a few feet from subject.
