Strengths: light weight, easy to use point and shoot, sharp clear pictures, and the camera is energy effiecent enought to use 2 AA batteries (you can easily purchase rechargeable ones)
Weaknesses: No complaint.
Summary: the camera is very easy to use.It works much better than one might think a 150.00 camera would.I have worked with several brands of digital cameras and the Fuji is as good as any I have used.

Strengths: Extremely simple operation and quick to learn. The software is easy to use as well. Great quality pictures! With the right printing equipment, you'd never know it wasn't film!
Weaknesses: Looks and feels a bit cheaper than the Finepix 2650, but they seem to have basically all the same features.
Summary: Perfect camera for my budget! I needed/wanted the best camera I could find for the best deal. This was it! This camera does everything I need it to do as an amateur photographer!! I found a great deal on this camera without it being refurbished. It works like a charm. I was hesitant to ever be won over by this whole new "digital age", but honestly, after going through hundreds of rolls of film... this will save me tons of money by picking out only the pictures that I really want to keep! How many times do you take pictures that weren't even worth the film?! This allows you to view the pictures right after you take them. Someone has their eyes closed? Someone stepped in front of your picture? Finger was in front of the lens? Forgot the flash? Delete it and try again! It's that simple! I'm excited to start taking more pictures and really focusing on higher quality pictures!

Strengths: Good picture quality for a 2MP camera. Integrated lens cover. Uses AA-sized batteries. 3x optical zoom. Good performance for the price.
Weaknesses: Menus not as intuitive as some other digicams. Some controls not very ergonomic.
Summary: 2004-01-05 15:45:01 Overall, I'm quite pleased with the performance of this digicam. Considering its price, there are not many other 2MP cameras that can keep up with it. Fuji did a pretty good job with its algorithms - blue hues are rendered fairly accurately in most shots.

Not a lot of manual controls, but then again, it's pretty handy and gets the job done in a pinch. A good starter camera for those who are contemplating finally getting their feet wet with digital photography.

Strengths: Lightweight. Good Battery life (on rechargeables) Fast transfter between PC and camera. Fool proof picture taking. Great quality pictures for the price.
Weaknesses: Takes a while to recharge the flash, but that's a precaustion for battery life saving.
Summary: Overall I love the camera. It's the first digital camera I own, even thought I've used others on occasion. I must say it's one of the best buys out there and for someone who is not looking for something professional ... jump on the deal. It makes great pictures, day or night. I'm very satisfied and I would definitely buy another XD picture card compatible camera later on, when my needs get higher.

Strengths: EASE OF USE, GOOD OPTICS, XD CARD,SMALL LIGHTWEIGHT SIZE
Weaknesses: NON YET
Summary: LOTS OF GREAT FEATURES FOR THE PRICE. I,VE ALREADY USED THE FEATURE WHERE YOU CAN TAKE A PICTURE, THEN MODIFY IT IN THE CAMERA. WILL FIT IN SHIRT POCKET. AND WHILE XD CARDS ARE PRESENTLY A BIT MORE EXPENSIVE, THIS CAMERA WILL HOLD UP TO A 256MB CARD.

Strengths: Definition / Price
Weaknesses: Step Zoom
Summary: Good quality camera, average size.

Very easy to use, took me only 5 min to start shooting pictures!!!

The only downside is the step zoom, but for it's price the Finepix A205 is definitely a good buy.

Strengths: Great for the price. Like the optical zoom and easy menu features.
Weaknesses: The battery goes out quick, should invest in rechargable batteries. Kinda lacking in the memory department but you can upgrade the memory.
Summary: 2003-12-11 22:56:01 It's just great I can take pictures in the dark and it turns out ok. The camera has an easy menu feature and can take short films too. The only negative thing is that the camera eats batteries like crazy and it only comes with 16mb of memory. Though taht's probably because the camera is only 130 bucks. It's a great begining camera. I would but it again.

Strengths: Light-weight, easy to use and good ration of price and features
Weaknesses: Not found any yet
Summary: For $140 or so, you can't get a better deal than this one. The 3x optical zoom only would worth the money. I borrowed it from a friend and I had great experience in taking pictures with it, both indoors and out doors. Then I decided to have my own.

2 Star Reviewok camera
Strengths: Easy to use, nothing complicated
Weaknesses: big and bulky. after a long time, it gets messed up and the quality stinks.
Summary: I've had this camera for a long time. Long enough to realize it's not a great camera after awhile. When I first got it, it seemed really good and stuff and the quality was pretty good too, since it was my first digital camera. But after using it over and over again, dropping it, etc., the quality lowered, the lighting in the pictures got weird, the quality was just overall awful. If anybody wants to buy a camera, you could porbably buy something else, cheap but better and longer lasting.

Strengths: Ease of use, quality of results
Weaknesses: None that I have so far
Summary: I was at first intimidated by the camera (book), not being a photo expert. When I fianally bit the bullet it took me an hour to get an understanding and then I started taking pistures. The the second step in the process, loading it in the PC. Piece of cake. I read a lot of complaints the LCD is to small and can not be seen during the daylight. Heck you can not see a TV in the daylight. Bottom line I am thrilled with this camera

3 Star ReviewSucks down batteries you definately need rechargea ...
Strengths: I purchased new on clearance at Meijer for $69.95. I am a residential builder who was tired of processing 35mm film or wasting film because I needed that one pic in a hurry. It's a good no-frills unit
Weaknesses: No movie clip sound, beleive me you need it if you are taking family memory type pics. For the job site I did'nt. Display screen does not reflect actual pic well.
Summary: Sucks down batteries you definately need rechargeables! Its takes better pics than you'd expect but not even close to the pics I take with my family camera the Canon A80 which I absolutely love!!! But I'm not about to take that grade of camera to the job site. I got this one for what I might have spent for a good 35mm. The software is included is great. you will need a bigger card and at 2.0 MP you will want to keep on max resolution. Shop your local retailers for more out-dated cameras since this one still sells on line for over $100. For my A80 which I bought when it first came out I got on-line for at least $80 less than major retailers. For guys like me it a good utility camera. for someone who is gonna take important family pics get a better grade. GOOD BACK-UP but NOT PRIMARY.

Strengths: Easy to use, light-weight, good optical zoom, good resoultion. Good power usage.
Weaknesses: Only rudimentary manual controls available.
Summary: Great "Point & Shoot" digital camera. I use it to take photos for the family web page; more than enough resolution for the web. Very easy to use - you'll be snapping photos as soon as you put the batteries in. I use rechargable batteries, and I get tons of pictures on a set. This is a great "first" camera. Good for up to 5X7 prints.

Strengths: Shutter time, expandability, simple, price, 3x optical zoom,
Weaknesses: cheap plasticy parts
Summary: this is a great camera, a very good buy considering it is under $150 and has all the features a $250 camera has. The 3x optical zoom is the same for almost all cameras up to $350 and the shutter time (which i think is the time between pressing the button to the camera actually taking a picture) is minimal.

Strengths: Good Camera, nice picture/easy to use
Weaknesses: I dont use it that offten but need to replace the Batteries EVERY OTHER MONTH.
Summary: This is a good camera but the only problem I have is that it eats the Batteries. I feel like everytime I use it I need to get new ones
