Strengths: Good picture quality for 3MP, many settings in manual mode, easy to use, and movie mode
Weaknesses: no sound in movie mode, small amount of shutter lag (time between whan you press the button and when the camera takes the picture), and like many digital cameras: it eats up your batteries.
Summary: This is a great camera! Good price, good pictures, and good camera! The software is easy to use. When you zoom in, it is not "smooth" it is a little jerky. Overall, I would definately recommend this to any novice (like me!) who wants to get into the digital world.

Strengths: Very easy to use. Great power saver function. One of the best auto-focus systems I have ever used!
Weaknesses: Eats Batteries (Use rechargables)
Summary: I bought this camera at a pawn shop with software & cable for $110 and was using it in 5 min. First shots were excellent(in a dark bar).Printed to 8.5 x 11 with a 30% crop and it was perfect, no pixelation at all! Downloaded the manual 3 DAYS later in order to find all of the features. This is my first digital camera but have used Nikon and Hasselblad film bodies for years.DON'T PASS THIS UP!!

2 Star ReviewI would try to buy a better camera other than this ...
Strengths: low price, TV output, few confusing buttons, small xd memory card, easy to use, good image quality.
Weaknesses: bulky size, EATS UP ALKALINE BATTERIES, slight shutter lag, low fps for movies, few manual settings, unusual lens cover, dust gets lodged in corners of lcd,
Summary: I would try to buy a better camera other than this one. This camera could use some improvements. 1)IMPROVE BATTERY LIFE. I would take a 10-20 pics, and a few days later the batteries are almost dead. I got some nimh batteries and they work fine though. 2) redesign the lens cover. i fear that i might try to shut the cover while the lens is out, and damage the lens. 3) make smaller. i would like to stuff this into a pants pocket without a rediculous bulge on my hip. i know that this camera is outdated, but the bad things could have been better.

Strengths: The biggest strength of this camera are the features for the money. The pictures are great and the software is easy to use and complete.
Weaknesses: None to speak of.
Summary: This camera has made our journey into the world of digital photography a very pleasant one. The quality of the pictures is equal to the 35 mm camera we had before. I was very impressed with the manual and was up and running in less than 10 minutes from the time the camera arrived. I did research and found this camera to be the best value in the 3.2 MP range. I would highly recommend the A210 to anyone!

Strengths: Easy to operate. Great pictures. Low cost, high value.
Weaknesses: No sound for the video recording option.
Summary: I upgraded from the Fuji 2 mp camera. Like the new feature of plugging directly into TV for pictures.

The zoom is all I will ever need, 9x when you combine the optical and digital zoom

Strengths: Easy to use, sharp pictures, lightweight, lens cover warning (when it's on), edit pictures right on the camera! Zooms via optical as well as digital lens. A HONEY!
Weaknesses: No weaknesses at this price!
Summary: I am selling my high-end camera because this one is just so much easier and more fun to use. I've never taken a bad picture with this camera! I love it. (I previously used an older model Fuji.)

Strengths: Price, ease of use, high quality photos, ease of uploading, lightweight, uses only 2 AA batteries
Weaknesses: sensitive to hand movements/vibration, larger than some other 3.2mp cameras
Summary: A nice camera - so easy to use you don't need to look at the manual - just stick the batteries in and start taking photos. A lot of features for a camera in this price range - the zoom is very easy to use. A great value. About $100 less than other 3.2mp cameras with similar features.

Strengths: Easy to use & takes great pictures.
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: Bought this camera as a present for my wife to replace

a inexpensive 35mm. She loves it and I am finding it

preferable over my own point & shoot digital, which is

not a shabby camera, only a few years older and much

heavier.

Strengths: Takes great close-up shots but you definately need a tripod to take them. Takes great pictures in general, very clear. Easy to use.
Weaknesses: Batteries run out quickly & are expensive to purchase. Power shuts off to fast when not in use, even when you turn the power saver function off. Requires great stability for close up shots.
Summary: I like this camera very much, even with it's weaknesses. I do a lot of close up jewelry shots & as long as you use a tripod, the pictures are beautiful!

Strengths: Compact but sturdy. Does not have the look or feel of an inexpensive camera. Startup instructions were easy to follow. I was ready to use the camera in very little time.
Weaknesses: 16MB memory card could be a problem for people who like to take a lot of pictures at high resolution, 2048 x 1536 pixels, as it only has room for 19.
Summary: I consider this camera a very good choice for first time digital camera users like myself. However the printed instructions for downloading pictures and emailing instructions could be improved. I am still having problems sending pics to family and friends.

Strengths: Ease of use, only uses AA batteries, WHEN you get a good picture the quality is decent, found software easy to use.
Weaknesses: long pauses between taking pictures, drains batteries way too quickly, camera has to be held so still for close-ups or pics are ruined, very bulky compared to most other cameras.
Summary: Even though it was cheap, I just don't think the money saved was worth the poor quality in the camera. For an extra 50-75 bucks you can get a much better camera out there (especially now that prices are dropping so quickly on digital cameras)

Strengths: Easy to use, takes clear photos. Has great zoom range and is quick with the shutter, not a very long delay in taking the photo like some digital cameras I have used before.
Weaknesses: None that I have found so far.
Summary: This camera offers the best in value (under $200) and ease of use. I am very pleased with it and look forward to exploring the many possibilities of digital photography.

Strengths: decent camera for the price. takes sharp pictures. easy to use.
Weaknesses: no sports setting for any object that is moving. totally point & shoot with very few options for manual settings.
Summary: You can't get a better camera in this price range. It takes good pictures, and I was able to use it straight out of the box with almost no learning curve. However, any movement makes the picture blurry, and indoor pictures in low-light setting only come out good with manual setting of the white balance.

Strengths: Easy to use, lightweight, high quality pictures, nice silver housing finish, and uses only 2 AA batteries.
Weaknesses: LCD screen not very bright, a bit bulky, slow picture processing.
Summary: This is a great camera for someone new to the digital camera transition. It is simple to use and doesn't have all the complicated buttons to scare you off. The price, at under $180, is hard to pass up, especially for a 3.2 MP camera. I would recommend getting a 128MB memory card because you will only get around 20 pictures with the provided 16MB card. The picture quality is superb once you download them to your computer.

Strengths: Very easy to use and to get aquainted with. Lightweight, compact, and the pictures are very clear.
Weaknesses: The lens cover would be better if it were electronic instead of manual. It's easy to forget to open it at times.
Summary: I would recomend this camera to anyone looking to purchase a digital camera. The quality is very good for the money. This camera was a gift, and it was received with much enthusiasm. There is a slight problem with the docking station. Seems Fugi could have made it one piece instead of two seperate ones which would make it easier for transportation, but it is still managable.
