Polaroid PhotoMAX 2300ZStrengths: Easy to use. Takes great pictures. Weakness: None so far. This is my second digital camera, the first being a cheap, credit card sized one that had virtually nothing on it. So, in this case, you might say that the Polaroid 2300Z is my FIRST real digital camera. 50% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Polaroid PhotoMAX 2300ZStrengths: I love the design and options, a name I trusted, high tech, looks good, LED on back, see shot now. Weakness: Works when it wants to. Can't depend on it for anything important to me, rendering it useless to me most of the time. I wish I could count on it, it is so so cool! I expected more from Poloroid, "roid" fits the name well. I hate wondering how many times I will have to attempt shooting the picture to actually get it. Is fair/so-so when it comes to portraits. But, want something "right now" like that shot of your child recieving his diploma, leave this HEART ACHE at home (it CAN make you HATE it FAST if you don't undrestand it's limitations). "Wait one more minute, my camera wont work right now. Let me try again. It wont take long, stay there a little longer. PLEASE...PLEASE WORK THIS TIME"!!! How sad! I expected more of THIS compamy. I will say, I have more good experiences with this company than bad ones. This is a FIRST and maybe a fluke? I don't know. I do have aprox. 20 years in the field of photography, and this could be bad luck, they never let me down before. I do use another brand most of the time, but in the past my experiences were far more pleasant with poloroids "now you see it" it's great...digital...I don't know). 33% of readers found this review helpful. Polaroid PhotoMAX 2300ZStrengths: Easy to use, instructions are very clear, nice small size. Weakness: LCD doesn't work well in the cold. This is my first digital camera and might be my last, if I don't wear it out. I take it everywhere I go including work. I have taken technical pictures at work, pics for a web page I help out on, family shots, etc, and it has never failed me once. I was sorry to see that it is no longer available, since my boss wanted one for company use. This camera takes better pictures than my sister's Sony that cost 3 times as much. I'm sold on it! 0% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Polaroid PhotoMAX 2300ZStrengths: Excellent high resolution with macro shots. Comes with USB and serial support. Weakness: Short battery life. This camera is the best that I've tried in the last 6 months. It comes with all the bells and whistles including a carrying case, AC adapter, wrist strap, video input cable, and a super graphics program that includes making albums and slide shows. 0% of readers found this review helpful. Polaroid PhotoMAX 2300Z
Strengths: Simple layout. Easy to use. Nice entry level camera for the money.
Weakness: Haven't found any, yet.
This is a wonderful camera. It's easy to use and I got a fantastic price at pcconnection.com. I would order from them again! It has all of the basic functions I wanted. I wanted at least 2MP, and 2x Optical zoom. Then the basic layout of the buttons and the operation of the camera was simple and easy to learn. If you want to change resolution, there's one button to press and you simply cycle through the 6 resolutions/qualties. If you want to change flash settings there is one button and you press it to cycle through those settings. Each mode (Record, Play, Erase) has it's own menu. Finding what you want to do is easy. I bought this for my sister. But, I may end up with it if she's not careful...

I had recently had gotten the Polaroid 2300Z in a trade for a 17' PC monitor a few days ago from a friend, and boy!Did I hit paydirt with this digital camera! All the functions are easy to use, and I suffered no flaws in the camera whatsoever! It's my first digital camera.
I love seeing the results in the LCD monitor right away after I taken a shot of any subject and choose either to save or delete the image.
I can instantly load it to my PC and use a program to either add something (i.e. mats or frames) or enhance my pictures in terms of brightness/darkness, color etc. One small minor thing though, I need to take more pictures but in order to do that; I need a bigger flash card; (which I intend to buy at a local PC store)Other than that, I'm satisfied with the Polaroid 2300z. To me it's a winner!
