G.E. A735 Digital CameraStrengths: It takes beautiful photos of dat, night shots, pictures of people, and all the shots came out excellent. I took a photo of a tree out my apartment window of a tree, and it came out great. Weakness: None that I can find I bought this as a starter camera for my friend, but the camera has advanced features, which he can learn how to take a lot more different types of pictures. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Don't let the price fool you.Strengths: Compact, Comfortable Controls, Exceptional Price, Bright LCD, Clear Quality Photos Weakness: None Yet. A lot of individuals, I would say, would think since this product was so affordable, that the quality of the camera wouldn't be. By all means, this is one of the best cameras I've owned. I own another camera, but the price on that one was about $150.00 more than this one. And in my opinion, I think the quality of the A735 is better than the pricer one. Not only is it affordable, but also compact, and the pictures are so clear and crisp. And let's not forget, that it is easy to use. What more can you ask? 92% of readers found this review helpful. Great Value -- Easy to use; Good quality
Strengths: Sharp close ups. Good in low light. Settings on dial also appear on lcd screen (large enough for an old guy to see). Impressively easy to use. Very good pictures of nearby subjects.
Weakness: It seems to be tough to take real sharp (focus) photos of distant and rapidly moving subjects, but no worse than my old Nikon Coolpix 5mp, for example.
Bought this camera for my son to take to camp. The camera takes VERY SHARP "close ups" -- shot a test photo of a folded American flag and could see each thread; saw a speck of dirt on a flower close up. But our other photos often seem a bit "soft." (I'm judging with the eye of a longtime pro -- so this may be a bit picky.) For the price this is a super impressive camera.
