Casio Exilim EX-Z120 7.2 Megapixel Compact Camera

I would recommend this camera to anyone,on auto or snapshot you can just point and shoot but if you have a bit of time to adjust the camera to how you want it you can take great pictures.I found the viewfinder very helpfull outside in bright sunlight. 2500 nic/cad batterys are a must

EXLIM EX-Z120

Strengths: uses 2 AA batteries

Weakness: smaller screen than the next higher model (2.0 v 2.5)

I would have opted for the slimer casio cameras as they are simpler and smaller. This model, however, has a smaller optic window, which is nice when it is sunny outside. Not bad for the price. I could not find something better under $250.

Casio EX-Z120

Strengths: High 7.2 megapixels with anti shake and easy to use! Uses AA batteries

Weakness: Like must small camera's flash lacking for indoor pic's and long distance

Just purchased, found very easy to use with compact size and good features. The size makes this easy to carry and have ready for any occasion. The 7.2 megapixels and AA batteries coupled with the price makes this hard to beat!

casio Z120

Strengths: very good outdoor image quality, fair/good indoor image quality, very responsive, many areas for in camera photo "adjustments",compact, uses AA batteries, attractive metal shell, clear LCD.

Weakness: indoor shots are not the best due to a weak flash. manual ISO settinggs or exposure adjustments do not help but flash intensity adjustment does somewhat. no good grip area at the rear.

purchased a F10, and got very soft photos, traded for the Z120 and am getting much better shots. was suprised since the F10 was rated so high. I am satisfied with the camera except for the indoor shoots (but can adjust in PC). good value for the money. if you want a camera for all occasions I guess you need to carry around something a bit larger.

This camera is definitely the most bang for the buck!

Strengths: Very responsive, Great image quality, Very compact, Losts of features, All metal body.

Weakness: For best results in low light situations you have to adjust some of the auto settings.

I'm an advanced photographer and I own a large hi-end digital camera. However, I needed a high quality ultra compact camera for my wife to be able to carry in her purse. After doing quite a bit of on-line research, we decided to give the EX-Z120 a try. One of my co-workers purchased a Canon SD 400 one day after I purchased my Z120. Strait out of the box the Z120 outperformed the Canon SD 400....

despite of so many negative views from professionals...

Strengths: 2 AA batteiries , very quick responce , very fast start-up time, durable .the battery life.

Weakness: the image quality is not as good as my canon A620.

It is so responsive and so you will probably never miss the chance to take an unexpected surprise shot . Also , it is easy to carry, and so as a secondly travel camera , it is a nice choice although the image-quality is not as bright and sharp as the Canon produces . My Canon was a bit too heavy for always carrying to the Lax with me, to fly and it is made of plastic so not as durable as this...

Pretty Nice Camera

Strengths: Multiple settings available. Shutter speed as slow as 60 seconds in the shutter priority mode. Unlimited video shooting with sound (restricted by the memory size only).

Weakness: In the auto mode, the slowest shutter speed available is 1/8 second. 30-second limit on voice only recording.

This camera should serve well to people who know a little on photography, but may not be suitable for those who prefer to simply point and shoot. Several users have problems on using the camera indoor and get pictures with noises. One reason is that the camera in the auto mode changes its ISO setting automatically. In low light situations, ISO value will be set high and that's the key reason for...

A great camera for the price

Strengths: Easy to shoot, short delay time, anti-shake works well, AA batteries available everywhere, optical viewfinder

Weakness: AA batteries don't last long, not great for macro shots, not great for indoor, not easy to zoom to exact size, too easy to unintentionally spin the dial which selects photo vs camcorder

For the price, the Casio Exilim EX-Z120 is absolutely the best camera available. Full of features, yet also easy to use. This is the perfect camera to carry around. It's not tiny; small enough to fit in a pocket but large enough to have a decent screen and viewfinder (a necessity to save battery power). Great for travel because AA batteries are available everywhere (though I recommend getting...

Takes Pictures as Good as a Digital SLR

Strengths: Small Compact Size, AA Battery, Feature Ladden, Fast Startup, Excellent Outdoor Picture Quality

Weakness: View Finder Size Impractical, Movie Quality Somewhat Lacking, LCD Hard to See in Sunlight

Got this as a 2nd camera for travel that can easily fit in the wife's purse. The compact size, battery type and low price are my main criteria in selecting this camera.

Disappointed

Strengths: size (very compact), easy functionality

Weakness: poor image quality (very blurry even when individuals were posing), auto focus takes too long

I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the images this camera created. My 4MP camera created sharper images. I used the camera in multiple settings, and maybe 1 in 4 pictures came out clear, yet the environment stayed the same. Returned the camera after two weeks.
