I would recommend this camera to...

I would recommend this camera to anyone,on auto or snapshot you can just point and shoot but if you have a bit of time to adjust the camera to how you want it you can take great pictures.I found the viewfinder very helpfull outside in bright sunlight. 2500 nic/cad batterys are a must

EXLIM EX-Z120

Strengths: uses 2 AA batteries

Weakness: smaller screen than the next higher model (2.0 v 2.5)

I would have opted for the slimer casio cameras as they are simpler and smaller. This model, however, has a smaller optic window, which is nice when it is sunny outside. Not bad for the price. I could not find something better under $250.

Casio EX-Z120

Strengths: High 7.2 megapixels with anti shake and easy to use! Uses AA batteries

Weakness: Like must small camera's flash lacking for indoor pic's and long distance

Just purchased, found very easy to use with compact size and good features. The size makes this easy to carry and have ready for any occasion. The 7.2 megapixels and AA batteries coupled with the price makes this hard to beat!

casio Z120

Strengths: very good outdoor image quality, fair/good indoor image quality, very responsive, many areas for in camera photo "adjustments",compact, uses AA batteries, attractive metal shell, clear LCD.

Weakness: indoor shots are not the best due to a weak flash. manual ISO settinggs or exposure adjustments do not help but flash intensity adjustment does somewhat. no good grip area at the rear.

purchased a F10, and got very soft photos, traded for the Z120 and am getting much better shots. was suprised since the F10 was rated so high. I am satisfied with the camera except for the indoor shoots (but can adjust in PC). good value for the money. if you want a camera for all occasions I guess you need to carry around something a bit larger.

This camera is definitely the most bang for the buck!

Strengths: Very responsive, Great image quality, Very compact, Losts of features, All metal body.

Weakness: For best results in low light situations you have to adjust some of the auto settings.

I'm an advanced photographer and I own a large hi-end digital camera. However, I needed a high quality ultra compact camera for my wife to be able to carry in her purse. After doing quite a bit of on-line research, we decided to give the EX-Z120 a try. One of my co-workers purchased a Canon SD 400 one day after I purchased my Z120. Strait out of the box the Z120 outperformed the Canon SD 400....
