DXG 552 Digital Camera

Strengths: size

Weakness: Pictures

i bought this camera for a vacation/wedding. All the pictures of the wedding (inside) were blurry and of poor quality. The flash takes about 2 minutes to charge (who's still left standing waiting that long?). For a 10 day trip I took 120 photos and had to change the batteries 3 times. It was a complete waste of money.

DXG 552 Digital camera

Strengths: compact - easy to use. Large internal memory. Uses SD card

Weakness: Bad image. Will not take a decent indoor picture.

This camera was purchased because it was compact and easy to carry in your pocket. Wanted to use with friends at parties dances etc. Have found all indoor pictures are blurry as if shutter speed is not fast enough. Lots of red eye. Hard to believe this is 5.1 mega pixels. After a week I returned it for a refund. Would like to know if other people had success and if I just got a lemon.

DXG-552 Digital Camera

Strengths: Small-light weight

Weakness: All pictures taken indoors are blurry and the color is off, that orange to copper color, like from low rated cameras. Big mistake buying better pics from my 2meg kodak. stay clear of this one.

All pictures taken indoors are blurry and the color is off, that orange to copper color, like from low rated cameras. Big mistake buying better pics from my 2meg kodak. I bought this as a Christmas present... man was I disappointed. I can't believe this camera is 5 megapixels, the quality is horrible. Still waiting on tech support for help. They have a standard line about holding steading and...

DXG 552 not a deal

Strengths: small and compact. Takes sd card. Good sized lcd screen

Weakness: poor focus and takes bad indoor pics. You must be in range for the focus to be perfect which is about 3-5 feet.

I bought this as a present for my girlfriend as someone else did but we used it on our vacation and it was not all it was made out to be. Indoor pics were blurry and red eye was horrible. I would stay away from this one. I bought it when there was only 1 review stating it was 5 star material. Not so, its worth the extra 30-50 bucks to get something you won't regret and feel bad about every time...

DXG 552 5.1MP Digital Camera

Strengths: compact size, good-looking appearance, convenient carrying strap and case

Weakness: horrible indoor photo quality, red eye, extemely slow, not very user-friendly

I should have realized that a cheap, 5 megapixel camera would cut all quality corners to be at that price. Don't buy this camera, it's a bad investment and a pain to return. Also, a note to MacWorld: Please only include reviewed cameras that have been rated by at least three or more people. I'm assuming this one was only reviewed by one person to get 5 stars because boy was I shocked when my...
