Strengths: 22 mb memory in built, 3x optical zoom, 5.1 mpx, long battery life, compactible, many functions, 2" tft monitor, view stabilizator....

Weakness: have just 3x optical zoom

I using this fotocamera about for month, it is realy easy to take fotos, which are realy nice. Realy good desig a lot of functions, one button many functions. Im very satisfacted by this olympus product and advise to all buy this camera if you don't want to spend lot's of money, and get maximum functions p.s. sorry for my gramar :)

I was in desperate need of a camera a month ago but I was on a somewhat limited budget ($120 being the max I could spend). I searched a number of online retail sites and camera review websites looking to get the best camera within my budget and I finally settled on the Olympus FE-130.

I saw the week of Thanksgiving JR.com was offering this camera for $119.99 plus shipping with a free 256 MB memory card and they took $10 when using Google Checkout. This was perfect as the camera would just fit within my $120 budget.

The amount of reviews available were kind of limited, but from what was there it was very positive. So after a little deliberation I decided to take the plunge and go with this camera based on the few, but very positive reviews. Let me just say I can't be happier with that decision!

The pictures are amazing at high quality (2592 x 1944). It's light, thin, and boasts a fairly large screen. I'm not entirely sure how long the batteries last on average but I have had my camera on for a couple hours at a time a few times already and the two AA batteries have last through the course of those events...something I can't say about other Digital Cameras I have owned.

The camera menu allows you to select what type of picture (evening, close-up, etc.) and adjusts the camera settings accordingly to give you the best possible quality if you are not sure how to set it for yourself.

I would definitely recommend this camera if you are looking to spend $120 or lower and would like to get the most bang for your buck.

worth the price

Strengths: sharp contrast,good color,very light

Weakness: the lcd is not large enough as it says

it is not a fancy DC.but worth the price definitely.it's pretty light and the pics are better than those i took from my old Casio Exilim,more colorful and more clear.if you only want a camera which can record routine daily life,it's a good chioce

Strengths: This camera is easy to use. The features you would use most frequently are located on the top of the camera. You don't have to go through a lot of menu buttons. It's compact. Takes great pictures.

Weakness: No audio available on the video option. The dial for the menu button is difficult to move because of its size and location.

The FE130 is suited for someone who doesn't want all the gadgets and extras located in the menu option buttons. This takes great pictures! She has no difficulty in using this camera. It also has great video which she was interested in. Unfortunately, when I purchased it, the vendor listed it with sound, but later reading the manual, found out it doesn't have it. The camera doesn't have a view finder which I prefer to use, but it seems many people do not use it with digital cameras. My daughter likes this LCD. I would absolutely purchase this camera again!
