Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W70 - great choice
Strengths: Carl Zeiss lens makes the difference - great pictures. Large bright screen works well in bright light condition, menu makes it easy to navigate thru features.
Weakness: Have not yet found any
Great camera at an ideal small size for the intened user which in this case was a college student who needs to be able to carry it easily. Great resolution on the pictures with the Carl Zeiss lens which is the major selling point with this camera -

pretty good
Strengths: takes pictures fast without flash, good pictures, small size
Weakness: no option to print date on prints, slower taking pictures with flash
I've heard that the LCD cracks easily on this camera, but i haven't had that yet. i don't like the fact that i can't print the date on my prints, but other than that, the prints look great, video is good with sound, not too much lag time between pictures.

Best digital camera
Strengths: the 2.5" LCD screen
Weakness: not
This little camera may be small (great feature) but it is loaded this goodies. This is my first adventure into digital photography and I would recomend this one to any first time user. Very easy and lots of fun to use.

Sony Cyber-shot DCS-W70 Digital Camera
Strengths: Compact size, excellent LCD, and easy to use. The photo quality of this 7.2 megapixel camera is excellent.
Weakness: None that I have found with the camera itself. For the money, though, they should include at least a camera case.
This is a great camera. I was surprised when I saw how really compact it is, but this did not affect my ability to use it and get some great shots. This is my first venture into digital and I am very pleased with ease with which I was able to master the features of this camera. (Now I have to figure out the movie feature). Cyber-shot DSC-W70 definite good buy!
Strengths: decent price to features ratio, between sony and the carl zeiss lens you will get some awesome pictures! probably the easiest digital camera to use I've ever seen. Very compact too. Great buy!
Weakness: Still looking for some---wish it came with a case you will need one: the little dial on back scuffs a little when i carried in my pocket.
