A great camera for the price

Strengths: *fast picture taking *extremely easy to use *compact and lite *several types of picture settings

Weakness: *lense is close to the side and sometimes your finger can cover it *difficult to take action shots, lighting doesn't always show up well

All in all this is a great camera, especially for travel. You could probably find a better camera that is smaller and has more picture features but you would end up paying twice as much. This is a very reliable, easy to use camera. In a time where technology is constantly changing you could get a couple years worth out of this camera and it would pay for itself within a year. Dollar for dollar it...

Compact, quality Point-'N-Shoot

Strengths: Compact, versatile, reasonable full featured camera. Very nice, warm colors in flash photos. Easy, intuitive menu choices makes the owner's manual essentially unnecessary.

Weakness: It's a little slippery. The on-off switch is awkward not easy to toggle on-off. Makes a noise when zooming; this was picked up in the audio of a video we shot. Not sure if menu allows silencing this.

A very nice camera, especially for a teenager looking for a decent quality camera, but without too many bells and whistles. Perfect choice for our 16 old daughter. The camera is compact enough to easily slip into a large pocket or small purse. Also, the lens is always protected with a cover that is closed when the camera is not in use.

wouldn\\\'t buy it again

Strengths: Okay picture quality, love the video feature, so easy to use.

Weakness: First day i bought it, the camera froze on me.

I wouldn't buy this camera again. It was a birthday present but the camera keeps freezing on me. The camera froze the first day i bought it, I have to keep taking the battery in and out in order for it to turn off. The picture quality is okay. I do enjoy how i can edit the photos in the camera. I wouldn't want to buy it again.

Good Camera

Strengths: Rechargeable Battery

Weakness: Zoom

I bought this camera for to use at a graduation, and it worked great. The rechargeable battery that it comes with saves lots of me money by not buying large amounts of batteries. It can hold a charge. It takes a decent picture, but It needs to be able to zoom in more.

Unreliable

Strengths: Screen size, # of pictures can accommodate

Weakness: Freezes up

Froze up right before vacation (camera was only 9 mo. old!!!). HP said would send us a NEW camera with all new accessories. Instead, we were sent a refurbished camera (serial #'s were worn away), without any accessories, that froze up again in LESS than 2 months. HP wants to send us yet another refurbished camera. Will NEVER buy another HP product after this experience.
