One very cool camera.

Strengths: Ease of use. Large 3-inch Touchscreen panel. Fast bootup (1.5sec).

Weakness: Bulky USB cable. Corded recharger. Skimpy manual.

I simply love this camera! It a great size, slightly thicker than my Motorola Razor 3m yet still very comfortable in the hand. The shots have great color saturation and clarity. The touchscreen is wonderful and very readable outdoors, even in direct sunlight. Changing parameters couldn't be easier. No more tiny buttons to fumble with! The redeye function works beautifully as well as Sony's Steady...

Sony T-50

Strengths: Touchscreen LCD, outstanding battery life, 56mb internal memory and slideshow w/ music feture (most newer cameras have these last two features)

Weakness: Camera and Sony accessories are both very expensive, plastic body, image quality under certain conditions.

I loved the touchscreen LCD user interface but wound up returning the camera after testing it side-by-side against my parents' Nikon Coolpix S6. We first took photos of a stationary object while shaking both cameras, and then took photos of my wife dancing around and shaking her hair. In both instances, the Sony images were blurred and had noise while the Nikon images were very clear. I am at a...

SONY T50

Strengths: Very easy to use, very nice touchscreen, overall nice camera

Weakness: Expensive accessories, 56MB internal need more.

Sony T50 is an excellent product. I bought the T30 about a year ago for my wife and she's very happy with it. Now I need another one for my sister. So I got this one for her. I would recommend to all buyers that need a new camera.

Good quality camera

Strengths: it's a light, small, good looking/quality camera with touch screen and big lcd.

Weakness: indoor shots sometimes are not great

This is a very good camera - light, small, big lcd and touch screen. The photo quality is overall good. The menu is user-friendly and I can pick it up and use it right away. And usaully daytime's photos are better than nighttime's and outdoors shots are better than indoors.

DSC-T50

Strengths: The camera is well design, nice looking, touchscreen is definitely a very big plus.

Weakness: picture will blurr if you move just a bit while taking the picture

The camera is fairly thin, compact, sleek, great for carry along on vacation. My daughter had been using it non stop since day one. Especially, the touch screen with a feature that you can interface with a stylist. Needless to say, that's the feature i will look for the next purchase camera.

Sony DSC-T50 Hands-on Preview

We had this model for only a short time, so couldn't conduct our full set of tests on it. It uses the same lens and imager as the Sony T10 though, so you can refer to that review for specific performance details. The main thing that's different with the Sony T50 is that it uses a touch-screen interface, borrowed from Sony's N-series cameras. (We'll be doing a full review of the Sony N2 very...
