Nikon Coolpix L11
Strengths: small compact design, light, big LCD,use AA bateries, relatively cheap
Weakness: cheap looking, no vibration compensation
Before I bought this camera, I was looking for a small, light and inexpensive one so that I can put it in my pocket and take it anywhere without worrying about: what if I am going to lose it or damage it? This camera is relatively cheap because it only has 6MP which is lower than newer cameras coming with 7,8,or 10MP. But I am not a professional photographer. 6MP is good enough for my purpose and...

Price, Quality, Shipping, Order handling (I got it in 2 days !! Amazingly fast service)
Strengths: Small, Sleek, Handy, Simple to use, low cost
Weakness: Battery Life, flash takes couple of seconds to recharge, Didnt find a setting to modify ISO level
I have been using Nikon from 8 years now and have used Manual SLR and first generation digital camera's. I have used camera's from other manufacturers as well, but the main advantage of using Nikon is its picture and video quality.
This camera offers you all basic things like face priority, red eye correction, etc etc in such a low price.

Nikon Coolpix L11 6MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom
Strengths: Price, Quality and All
Weakness: N/A
1) Price - I was looking for a camera around $100.
2) Picture quality - Obviously, this is why you buy a NIKON. I would never buy a camera from a company that isn't famous for them, such as Samsung.
3) Size, AA batteries, SD card - all these features make for a great an inexpensive camera to use.

Good low-cost camera.
Strengths: 1. Takes good pictures under normal lighting. 2. Uses 2 AA batteries. 3. Good price. 4. Compact design, light weight.
Weakness: Close-up-mode pictures are not good, pictures are blurred. In dark ambient the pictures are sometimes noisy.
Summary: Easy enough for the beginner, control buttons are intuitive. Has several languages to choose from. Takes good pictures right out of the box. Battery life isn't too bad. Suggest buy 1GB or 2GB SD card and get a pack of at least 4 rechargeable batteries with charger. I have canon A80, A460, A710, any of those canons take better close-up pictures. So if you don't use this feature a lot and...

Affordable 6MP DC
Strengths: Cheap, 6MP, Use AA battery
Weakness: N/A
I got it at $129. It is really an affordable entry level Digital Camera. As I have bunch of rechargeable AA battery and SD cards, it is a perfect DC for me. Do not need to invest more on those expensive batteries used on other brands. It is compact, and the picture quality is good. The start up time is reasonable, and the delay from one shot to another is also acceptable even it is using 2 AA...
