Superb Camera

Strengths: Huge 3" Screen. Easy to shoot. Nice looking.

Weakness: No image stabilization to reduce handshake.

Very light weight, so it is very portable. It is easy to shoot and see what you just take. Even though there is no image stabilizer, the quality of the photo is still perfect.

Excellent point & shoot camera

Strengths: Large 3" LCD screen, Digic III processor, screen image flips according to orientation camera is held in, compact design.

Weakness: No optical viewfinder (= smudges), proprietary battery, no battery meter, no image stabilization.

For a regular use point & shoot camera, this is about as good as it gets in terms of picture quality. The 3" LCD is great for folks who are a bit far-sighted. I found the user controls to be intuitive, even if the buttons were a bit difficult to physically manipulate. Its compact design is obviously a bonus; you can easily put it in a pocket; even with a soft carrying case it does not take up...

Amazing Digital Camera

Strengths: The graphics on this camera is just amazing. There is no way anyone would be disappointed with it. 3" Lcd a favorable assest.

Weakness: The only thing it does not come with a cloth for the lcd screen and I do find that you cannot help but to get fingerprints on the screen.

I'm new at using a digital camera but I do know that I reached and found this on to be the best on the market right now. I know I mentioned that large 3" LCD screen.

Amazing camera!

Strengths: Picture quality; Small size; 3 inch screen; Stylish design; Fast start up/very litte time until 1st picture and in between pictures

Weakness: No optical stabilization

The SD750 is a great camera. It's not too expensive, and is easily as good, if not better, than some pricier cameras. It's very very small. The 3 inch screen is beautiful...I wouldn't even consider a camera without it. It doesn't have a viewfinder b/c of the big screen, but I would never use it anyway. Menus are easy to use and understand. Some people complain about the IPod like scrolling, but...

Canon Powershot SD 750 Digital Camera

Strengths: Large viewing screen, very lightweight, extremely easy to use, takes outstanding pictures, easy to use zoom, good battery life

Weakness: The case that I purchased separately from Canon is a little bulky. Since the camera is so compact one would expect the case to be as compact.

I bought this digital camera as a retirement gift for my wife. This is her second digital camera. The old camera is a Canon also. Her major complaints concerning the old camera were the lag time between shots and the weight/size of the camera in her purse. My wife hates to read directions so this camera meets all her needs. It can be used after receiving a few verbal directions. The view screen...
