DO NOT BUTY THIS CAMERA
Strengths: GREAT PICTURES (WHEN THE CAMERA WORKS)
Weakness: I HAVE HAD 2 CAMERAS THAT HAVE LOCKED UP.
THERE IS DEFINITELY A LANGUAGE BARRIER IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AREA!!!! I HAVE PAID $250 TO USE A CAMERA (ACTUALLY 2 CAMERAS) ABOUT A DOZEN TIMES. WHAT A RIPOFF?!? I ALWAYS THOUGHT KODAK WAS A REPUTABLE COMPANY, BUT I WAS WRONG. DON'T BY KODAK PRODUCTS. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. THEIR SOLUTION IS THAT THEY WILL OFFER ME A 20% DISCOUNT IF I WOULD LIKE TO UPGRADE MY CAMERA . . .WRONG...

Bad Customer Service
Strengths: Didn't get a chance to find out.
Weakness: Needed repair to operate properly.
Bad quality and sent back to Kodak twice and returned to me not repaired. Kodak's customer service has all moved to India and there is not only a language barrier but all you can get is a "canned response" and the customer suffers. I would recommend to avoid all Kodak products until they get their act together.

Kodak Z885
Strengths: easy to use and good price
Weakness: software must be used to load pictures from camera
It is very easy to use. intuitive menus and features. good color and auto adjustments. nice in-camera feature. relatively compact.
The LCD screen has a relatively low resolution. Another thing I do not like is the software. It is very slow.
Overall, it is a good camera at this price

8 MP Digital camera
Strengths: 8 MP at very low price
Weakness: Does not give error message when it cant read the card
Bought it for $129.00+tax. Good price for a 8MP camera with 5x optical zoom. So far, used indoor and few shots in low light sunset. Picture quality is pretty good. Only issue I faced was, that the camera was not saving pictures onto a 2GB SD card I formatted on a PC. Weird thing was the camera was not even giving me any error message. I snapped few picture and noticed the remaining was stuck at...

Acceptable performance for the price
Strengths: High MP count good for pictures that will be blown up to poster size. 5x optical zoom is higher than typical in point n shoot cams. Outstanding user interface.
Weakness: Casing is particularly flimsy & cheap feeling. No viewfinder. High ISO rating seems inflated. LCD res is below average.
I bought this camera for one specific purpose: a cheap point n shoot that has a very high megapixel count for printing out poster-sized prints. It fulfills this function very well. It has the added bonuses of being extremely easy to use (others in my family can take good pics with it) & its 5x optical zoom is great for amateur wildlife photography when I don't feel like lugging an SLR w/ lens...
