Strengths: Touch screen, large lcd window, great features.
Weakness: NOt as slim as I would have liked, but for all the extras, was a great tradeoff.
I just bought my Samsung a few weeks ago and love it! I wasn't sure about Samsung for a camera. We actually wanted a Canon. We have had Olympus and Canon and were seriously looking at the Panasonic Lumix. But when I saw the touchscreen, the large size lcd screen and the easy to use featues, I was sold. Samsung Digimax L74 Wide
THE GOOD: Wide lens; large screen; World Tour Guide is a fun if not terribly useful feature. THE BAD: Slow performance; noisy, fringe-filled photos; touch screen interface is a pain. THE BOTTOM LINE: A wide lens and nifty tour guide feature simply cant redeem the Samsung L74 Wide from its poor image quality, slow shooting, and irritating interface.
