Strengths: It works
Weakness: thin metal doesn't really seem like it's worth cost
The LA-DC58D Lens Adapter for Canon Powershot G6 Digital Camera works as advertised. It fit onto my camera and the wide angle lens fit on it. So, basically it works. Canon must get a great markup because it probably cost about $1 to make. You must buy this lens adapter for this model G6 powershot.

This is for 58mm lenses, not for 52mm
Strengths: Necessary for using other lenses
Weakness: A high price for a simple piece of metal.
Most lenses for the Canon G6 have a 58mm thread diameter. Be sure to measure your lenses to be sure. Some cheaper lenses have a 52mm diameter and require a different adapter. Unfortunately, both diameters are sold with the same Canon adaptor part number.
