Casio Exilim EX-Z50 5 Megapixel Compact CameraStrengths: Small size can put in shirt pocket, speed (no lag time when taking pictures), the best shot options are really pretty cool. Weakness: LCD cannot be seen in bright sunlight. White balance is a little off compared to my Olympus, the white from the Casio looked a little darker needs adjustmenti every time you turn the camera on. The small size of this camera, and the speed are the reasons I purchased this camera. It is so small that it fits in my shirt pocket and so light I almost forget it is there! The speed is excellent compared to my Olympus. It turns on rapidly and takes a picture when you press the button, very little lag time. The only time I noticed any lag was when I tried to take multiple pictures in row. A...

Casio Exilim EX-Z50 5 Megapixel Compact CameraStrengths: Size, Resolution, Options, macro lens, have several cool features despite the small size. Macro lens is pretty good, with a minimal distance of approx 6 inches from target. Very good low light pics. Weakness: Pentax lens (although good quality photos), small internal memory (16MB, YOU MUST BUY A SD MEMORY CARD!!), very primitive software (internet Expolrer based). Nothing major. I bought the camera to just carry around to clubs and take pics on the fly. I soon realized that the quality was so good that I started taking photos of scenery that I would previously only dare to use my high resoution film camera. I take a lot of nature pics with my fim camera, and now I also use the Casio Exilim Z-50. It is my first digital camera, but I love it. One drawback is the small...

Casio Exilim EX-Z50 5 Megapixel Compact CameraStrengths: Incredible Camera for the price. 5.0mp, excellent quality. Long battery life, very easy to use. Weakness: Wish camera came with a larger memory card. Sometimes its a pain to charge the camera since it needs to be put in a dock to charge it. I would definitely recommend buying a second battery so you don't have to lug around the docking base to charge it. Overall, it's a great camera and well worth the money.

Casio Exilim EX-Z50 5 Megapixel Compact CameraStrengths: The major strength for the EXZ50 is it's compact, fit in your pocket, easy, 5mp digipics, 380 pic battery!!!! It uses easily obtained, affordably priced SD memory cards. Weakness: Major weakness is shutter lag. Click and wait for actuall take. Not capable of manual setting of FStop and shutter speed. These trade offs for the price are offset by conveniences and handiness! Got the camera as an adjunct to my Canon EOS Rebel Digital. It will provide me the candid snapping ability when the Rebel is too much to lug along on a family adventure. We're a two camera family now. The 5mp pics give you some great cropping ops without sacrificing printed image quality. It's FUN and easy to use for nontechie types like a number of my family members.

Casio Exilim EX-Z50 5 Megapixel Compact CameraStrengths: Small compact size, fast, big megapixel vise, long life battery (300 shots on one charge, for sure) Weakness: Poor red eye reduction, 30% of shots is out of focus, use of gradle Pretty good small, light high resolution camera, which you can take anywere in your pocket whit out people around notice it is there (in the pocket). Has a lot of nice usefull functions. The BIG + of this camera is a battery life. I took 220 pictures (most of them with flash) and the battery indicator was still full. I do not like the fact that this camera cannot be connected to a TV or straight...

Casio Exilim EX-Z50 5 Megapixel Compact CameraStrengths: Small size, movie mode, advertised battery life Weakness: Proprietary (read expensive) battery, but if Casio's claim to improved battery life due to new technology is accurate, that should not be a problem. I used to wonder how someone could write a review after only using a product for a day or 2. Now I know. I have been looking for a pocket sized digicam for about a year now. My Minolta Dimage 5 is great, but due to it's size, I leave it at home a lot. After what I think was a pretty exhaustive search of the market, I finally settled on the Casio. I couldn't be happier with my decision. The 2"...

Casio Exilim EX-Z50 5 Megapixel Compact CameraStrengths: Small size, big LCD screen, very fast response time, battery life, docking station. Weakness: Docking station is needed to charge it. This is a very nice camera. It takes the picture almost immediately after you press the button, which is something that is missing from many other cameras (like Pentax Optio S/S4 I used to own). It comes with docking station, which is very nice because you don't need to take out the SD card every time you want to see the picture on the computer. Very nice big LCD screen. The camera is only a...

Casio Exilim EX-Z50 5 Megapixel Compact CameraStrengths: Small size, large LCD screen, long battery life, ergonomic design. Weakness: Supplied charging cradle only charges battery when battery is in camera. In my opinion, this is a very well designed, reasonably priced, digital camera. The tiny size, great resolution (5 MegaPixel), optical zoom (3x), long battery life, and large LCD screen make it the perfect camera for most consumers. From my experience owning a larger digital camera, the most important aspect of this camera is its size. Think about it, we buy digital cameras to take pictures. The...

Casio Exilim EX-Z50 5 Megapixel Compact CameraStrengths: Good, size, great pictures, easy to use. The cradle makes it ez to charge and also view and print pictures. Weakness: very small memory, should come with bigger built in memory. Also should have A/C adaptor. Over all a great camera, just got a 512 SD card for $50 and I have gotten many super pictures. Biggest print 8X10 and was very sharp. Would strongly recommend.

Casio Exilim EX-Z50 Zoom
The Casio Exilim EX-Z50 Zoom is one of the latest digital cameras from that maker, delivering the "Unexpected Extra" claimed in their advertising. Casio has been making digital cameras for a long while, and you can count on them for unusual, useful features. In the case of the Casio EX-Z50, the unique "White Board" shooting mode, automatically straightens and crops images of white boards and... Top

Frustratingly horrid pictures
Strengths: Size
Weakness: Quality of pictures
I read a lot of reviews before buying this camera, some of them were very good, and some were very bad. So, I decided to take a chance and thought I would figure it out. It didn't happen, and once again I learned that I should trust user reviews. The pictures come out HORRIBLE. I don't know how people manage to get nice pictures with this camera. Maybe there is a way, but I haven't discovered it....
