Everthing you need to become a true photographer at an unbelievable price!

Strengths: It has great HD quality that allows one to become very confident in taking great pictures; everything you would ever dream in a camera for a (no joke) great price

Weakness: Lense cap falls off to easily.

I loved the simplicty of taking pictures. I could show a hard core photogrpher them and he would be impressed. I also feel like the simple system allows me to do anything to my photos to look good even though on other cameras they would look dull and impossible to fix.

Excellent hybrid camera

Strengths: Excellent ZOOM optical + Digital Pictures quality above average Video is excellent, zoom is operational during video IS is a very good Flash reaches 20 feet

Weakness: No rechageable battery No charger No battery life indicator video sound is weak Red-eye reduction could be improved.

Was going on vacation and wanted a camcorder, ran across this camera. Purchased from Abe's of Maine. Very surprised at the picture quality, and video quality, not shaky, very sharp, zoom can operate during video. There are serveral modes the camera can work in. Night time, macro, landscape etc, so very flexible in still camera mode. Picture quality is near SLR performance, and so is the size, but...

Kodak easyshare z812 IS review

Strengths: The powerfull zoom is such a great plus for this type of priced camera. The HD feature is really nice as well. Its a solid camera for a great price.

Weakness: Feels really plasticy. It could use a rechargable battery instead of disposables. Other than that, its a nice camera.

If your going for powerful zoom and an inexpensive camera, here its is. It delivers impressive performance for a camera in its price range. A full body style camera with a nice lcd screen and youll be satisfied with the pictures.

Great Camera

Strengths: Good image quality, good features, decent quality video with sound.

Weakness: Movies are in .mov format... no real biggie.

I am so glad I chose this camera to replace my older Kodak. I am attaching a picture I took at work. It is a CNC mill fabricating an aluminum part turning at over 6000 RPM. Taken using the smart scene setting, and scaled down to 20% of the original size. People have complained about the lens cover coming off easy. This is by design. It's a quick release cover, in case you accidentally turn the...

Very Good

Strengths: Nice greep, Good Picture quality, Optical Zoom is Good.

Weakness: Lence cover loose, No rechargable Battery and Charger for the cost.

Lance cover loose, No rechargeable Battery and Charger for the cost. Good indoor out door pictures. I liked it so far. Good Menu navigation. Nice LCD display. Programmable timer for self shot. Strap should have been better to hook up. Strap is thick and the hooks are slim. The best part is good picture quality.
