One of the better features is that it can accept sdhc cards--so a lot of storage possibility on a single card. Very easy to reach/adjust menu options. Pictures come out fine (i.e. no grains visible) as long as ISO not pushed over 200.

Overall, a very handy camera with a lot of features which can be easily carried in a shirt pocket!! A Recommended purchase.

Great Little Camera

Strengths: 7X Zoom with no lens that sticks out. Can use program mode but auto does a good job

Weakness: Manual mode somewhat limited. Would like to have AA batteries instead of the factory battery.

Buying a second one for my wife. Perfect to back up my DSLR.
Has enough features to use auto or manual and adjust WB, ISO, etc. I used it a lot for Christmas pics and was very pleased.

Great point and shoot

Strengths: 7* optical zoom, no lens comes out of the body! Good picture quality. Great design and build quality.

Weakness: Not many manual controls. No optical viewfinder.

This is great for a point and shoot, if you do not want to mess with many manual controls, but still want a strong zoom. Bought this in addition to a Panasonic FZ-50, which is a great camera with almost complete control over everything, but just does not fit in small pockets and therefore stays home too often. This is great for a point and shoot, if you do not want to mess with many manual controls, but still want a strong zoom. Bought this in addition to a Panasonic FZ-50, which is a great camera with almost complete control over everything, but just does not fit in small pockets and therefore stays home too often. The Samsung always comes along! although the screen is good and bright, I do miss a viewfinder. Picture quality is very good. Autofocus in dim light is sometimes a problem, other than that - great camera!

Samsung L77 Digital Camera

Strengths: Excellent camera. Camera size and picture quality are both exceptional.

Weakness: Doesn't take AA battreies.

I would highly recommend this product. I've been using this camera for a week and find it superior to other digital cameras that I have owned. It size is perfect for those who want to travel light.

My husband had previously changed the resolution settings so that the camera stayed on the highest resolution. After taking several close-ups of bushes after the storm, we found we could zoom in on the pictures and see incredible sharpness and resolution at the level of the ice itself. I'm attaching a couple; not my favorites, since I don't want them floating around the internet, but enough to get an idea of what resolution is possible.

Other strengths: it's tiny, easily fits in a pocket, and is light even with battery inside. The battery life is also quite good - it lasted for a couple of hours of high intensity use.

Weaknesses: As with any camera with this much zoom, a tripod is required at 7X. Also, even though there is some memory in the camera, it's nowhere near enough. Extra memory is a must (I got it very cheap online, I believe via Amazon). I've listed "no viewfinder" as another weakness since I was turned off by that at first, but I quickly adjusted.

I'm visiting this site to purchase a second identical camera so that my husband and I can stop fighting over who gets to take the pics. I highly recommend this one.
