Olympus SP-560 UZ Digital Camera

Strengths: The Olympus 560 UZ digital camera has tons of options for taking pictures. It's about as close to an SLR as you can get in a powerful regular digital camera.

Weakness: Because of all it's options, it can be a bit overwhelming for the starter or intermediate user. You need to understand terms like ISO, aperture, diopter, bracketing to appreciate the camera's value.

This is my 4th Olympus Camera. I stay with Olympus first of all because as I move on to bigger and better products, many of the features work the same way, so less to learn. Very Pleased

Strengths: Great pictures, intuitive, stylish, and functional. Uses AA batteries. Great price.

Weakness: Minor detail on camera strap, suggest using plastic instead of aluminum to avoid scratching the screen when in camera case.

Overall this is an excellent camera for the beginner and intermediate user. Although this is my first digital camera, I have researched and had the opportunity to use several brands before making a decision. I am very pleased with the results thus far and have no regrets.

Olympus SP560 UZ

Strengths: Very pleased with the strength of the zoom. I like having quick access to the frequently used settings.

Weakness: All cameras have a weak point somewhere, but haven't found one here yet.

I am a first time user of Buy-Dig so I was a little nervous at first but couldn't be happier with the super fast service I received. This camera is easy to use, great clarity and color saturation without having to play with settings. I am not a pro, but would like to think I fall in the intermediate category and this is a perfect camera for me!

Lemon camera

Strengths: Great shipping and good customer service

Weakness: Faulty camera

The camera was shipped properly but did not work at all.Functions worked but every picture was blurry. After talking with olympus the camera was sent back for a refund.Since then i purchased a olympus ultra compact camera which works great.I am chalking it off as bad luck.

Olympus SP-560 UZ

THE GOOD: Superlong, yet wide lens; manual exposure controls; good body design; supports wireless flash. THE BAD: Softness and noise hurt picture quality; middling performance. THE BOTTOM LINE: Olympus 8-megapixel ultrazoom generally improves over the SP-550UZ, but suffers from many of the same problems.
