Strengths: Solid & quality construction, comes with a nice storage case, works with both digital cameras and some camcorders, protects camera lens
Weakness: Price seems high, requires Sony VAD-WA adapter for many cameras
I am using this polarizing lens with the Sony DSC-W1. I took a couple of pictures of a blue sky with cumulus clouds, with and without the filter and the results were astonishing. The blue sky is much darker and the clouds are much brighter with the filter. It is a cool effect which cannot be achieved using photo enhancing software, but only with a filter. Sony VF-30CPK S Lens Filter Kit
Strengths: Comes with protective case
Weakness: none that I can think of.
I have used this Polarizing filter with lens protector and works great in sunlight when near water like a lake and does what it says it does suppressing the reflections from water and class in the area, I would recommend this filter kit to anyone getting a DVD Handycam also protects your len from scratches.
