I bought this camera because of all the good reviews but have to say I'm a little disappointed with the picture quality. The colors are not very accurate and the sharpness is not really crisp, the focus is very soft...I think the Fuji's handle that better. The manual aperture setting...

It takes wonderful photos straight out of the box. If you are an advance user and know how to adjust settings, the photos get even better. I have had this camera for about a year and still love it! Battery life is average and excellent if you don't use the LCD. The A60 is this cameras replacement since Canon no longer makes the A40.
