I was looking for a better digital camera to replace my first 5MP digital camera I bought years ago. I searched on the website and found this one. It offers a lot of nice features and it is perfect for a beginner. There are lots of features to learn and try, but I am mainly using the basic operations and impressed by its simplicity. The size is perfect, and I really like the color (personal taste). One thing I want to point out is it uses the regular AA batteries. It's really very helpful so you never worry running out of batteries. I purchased it on a reputable online site with a reasonable price. I should also mention the 5x optical zoom. Most other models offer 3x Opt zoom.


The built-in memory is not enough. You need to buy a high capacity memory card anyway, so this doesn't really bother me. However, lacking a case is inconvenience. A simple case would make this buy perfect for me.


Overall, this is a great product. I highly recommend it.
