Great little beginner's digi-cam!

Strengths: small size, easy to use, good pricing point, takes great pictures!

Weakness: average zoom range

I was looking for a small and easy to use camera that takes great pictures under most conditions. I went to a local Circuit City to see what is available at the moment. I tried this camera and loved the results that I saw. It's priced very competitively consider the competitions. It's small but pictures aren't blurry even if you don't have a steady hand while taking pictures. It's easy to use and...

J10 is a good, small point and shoot

Strengths: Size, weight, battery life, VERY easy to use.

Weakness: For the price, none really. Plastic case scratches easily.

I bought this camera to fill in for when I don't feel like lugging around my DSLR. It's barely larger than a cell phone so it fits easily in the pocket of my jeans or even my shirt. The menus are easy to navigate and it is easy to take decent pictures in most conditions. I've owned it for 2 months and I've only had to charge the battery twice. The picture quality is not going to match a DLSR, but...

FinePix J10 great affordable slim camera!

Strengths: Slim design, shooting mode options, price

Weakness: No view finder. Picture quality is not the greatest.

I recently decided to upgrade from a Traveler brand camera and was picky about it having to be slim, take an SD card, and use a rechargeable lithium ion battery. This had it all and was one of the cheapest cameras with over 7 MP out there. And it's great. The picture quality is so much better than I was getting with the other camera and I think I paid even less for this one. I've only had a...

Covers the basics

Strengths: Decent quality photo Small Lightweight

Weakness: No video capability Limited wide angle coverage

I bought this camera in a jam because I forgot my digital camera on vacation. The photos are very good for the price. Unfortunately, there is no video capability and the camera is rather slow between snapshots, which may be a function of the memory card that I am using (Sandisk Ultra II). It is small and light enough for your front pocket. As in the title, it covers the basic camera functions but...

Great value

Strengths: Overall size, LCD size, battery life, simple control menu.

Weakness: No optical viewfinder.

I've owned this camera for about a year now. When I began searching for a new digital camera, my criteria were: I wanted a simple point-and-shoot camera small enough to slip in a shirt pocket, with a fairly large LCD screen, at least 7 MP, at least 3x optical zoom, and preferrably not brightly finished. I couldn't be happier with my choice! The camera is easy to use, the menus easy to navigate....
