The 1.75x TC-DC58N telephoto lens...

Strengths: Works with same adapter used by wide angle lens; Comes in a nice leather carry pouch

Weakness: Would be nice if it were 2x, but 1.75 isn't bad; heavy.

The 1.75x TC-DC58N telephoto lens is a nice addition to the Canon G3/G5. The camera is HUGE with the attachment, but it looks pretty cool. Filters have to be attached to the backside of the lens between the lens adapter and the lens itself.

I really like this lens. It's nice...

Strengths: Works perfectly with converter and the camera.

Weakness: None.

I really like this lens. It's nice add-on to my beloved Canon G3 camera, and very useful when I tried to get some shoots on wild animals. It's huge, compared to the camera itself, and I have to get a seperate bad for the lens, but it makes you look professional. :) Similar to a previous reviewer, I do wish it's a 2x, but I can live with 1.75x given the high quality pictures I get.

This is a nice, compact...

Strengths: Compact, lightweight, easy to work with, does not restrict light.

Weakness: Slightly soft in edges, color shift from built-in lens.

This is a nice, compact teleconverter to use with the G3 - G6 cameras. It's compact and reasonably lightweight. The converter is easily attached to the G6 (my camera) with the appropriate adapter. Images taken with the teleconverter are reasonably sharp, although the edges suffer a little. Stopping down the lens a couple of f/stops improves the sharpness, as is typical with a teleconverter.
