Great CameraStrengths: Easy to use. Great quality of pictures. It has a great zoom feature. For what it does the size is nice and small. Weakness: The instructions that come with the camera are too general and not helpful for using some of the features. Just to set the record straight, not only does it work with rechargeable batteries but they came with the camera and they work fine. I would prefer that the expansion card was not in the battery compartment. It should be a separate compartment that is easy to access.

Nikon Coolpix L 100Strengths: Very easy to use, and takes great pictures even for beginner, I love this camera, and would recommend it to everyone looking for a decent camera which takes great pictures, and videos... Weakness: some blurry pictures, but I think it was the picture taker's doing not the camera Having said that, I am comfortable with the size of the camera, the itty bitty ones are not for me... and this takes better pictures...

Nikon L100 CameraStrengths: it's better than than those sleek model camera. However it's not an SLR. For the price, it's worth. It has a load of feature like taking snaps in sports mode. Weakness: size is big, so cannot slip in front pocket of jeans. I am pretty happy the way this camera works. I took some night shots in particular of camping snaps. all of them looked pretty cool.

DisappointedStrengths: Great picture quality. Light-weight. Easy to use. Weakness: Batteries, batteries, and more batteries... uses batteries up like it's nothing. Never able to use it when I actually need it. Even after replacing the batteries it only last a few days. Think I'll just stick to buyin the Li-Ion rechargable cameras.

Nikon CoolPix L100Strengths: Great lens for the money. Fast picture taking Weakness: Nothing yet My first comment is about Beach Camera, I had questions about the L100 before purchase, I called them and got good quick answers that as I see were accurate. No sales talk or pushing. I was impressed. Second comment is about the product. I have been dealing with Nikon products for 32 years professionally. Never had really any problems with film or digital cameras they produced. For the money, the...

I love it!!!Strengths: light, takes great pictures for the cost Weakness: lower quality pictures at longer shutter speeds I love this camera! I got mine about two years ago as my first digital camera and I love it. It is easy to use, pretty durable and takes great pictures. Since then, I got a Nikon D3000, which I also love. Nikon Forever!

Just OKStrengths: Takes GREAT Pictures Weakness: My camera has a battery effect and must be returned I loved this camera. But it now gives me an error msgs that says "battery exhausted" so now I am looking to exchange it. But I don't want my money back.... I want another... Great camera. I would suggest a warranty if you can. I know now I am going to add one!

Nikon CoolPix L100
THE GOOD: Comfortable design; reliable auto features; cheap. THE BAD: Uneven, soft photos; almost no control over ISO; cannot use rechargeable batteries. THE BOTTOM LINE: The Nikon Coolpix L100 is a decent entry-level megazoom. Just dont look too closely at the photos and stock up on AA batteries. Top

Nikon Rocks!!
Strengths: For a beginner this camera takes good pictures after experimenting a little. Thank god for memory cards so you can erase the bad pics.
Weakness: The directions say not to use re-chargeable batteries. Four AA batteries really don't last is long as I had anticipated.
I plan on buying re-chargeable batteries and trying it out! I hope to save a little money and not damage the camera. I can't think of any reason why it would. All in all this camera impressed me so much that my next camera, if I need to get one, will be in the same Nikon Coolpix family.
