The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX580 is a well-designed ultra-compact camera with an ultra-wide lens, large touchscreen LCD display, full manual controls (!), and an HD movie mode. Unfortunately, it disappoints in terms of photo and video quality, and it can be sluggish at times, as well.
