Samaung HZ30W
Strengths: Large screen. Intuitive. Great Zoom
Weakness: Tremendous shutter lag. Lots of ghosting in flash shots.
Tremendous shutter lag between pressing the shutter and the camera actually capturing the image. Unless the subject is posing, you don't know where in the action the image will be recorded.

A poor choice
Strengths: Looks real nice until you try to use it.
Weakness: A pain to learn how to operate.
The first thing I tried to use on it did not work. The manual says that in timer mode I should get five options, I get one. I am waiting for a call back from a level three technician to tell me how to fix something that should be pretty basic. thanks god I bought this at Costco, it will be returned tomorrow.
