Superb BuyStrengths: Great features, Awesome picture quality, very low price for the quality Weakness: a little heavier than expected but still small enough to fit in my pocket when necessary. I was looking to upgrade to a higher pixel camera but was on a budget. I love this camera after one week of use. I suggest buying a high capacity memory card because you will want to take lots of pictures.

The Canon A2000 IS generally does a good job upholding the strong tradition of Canon's A-series cameras. Its 6x zoom lens shows very good optical quality, and its 10-megapixel sensor delivers plenty of detail at low ISOs. I like the PowerShot A2000 IS -- it's a good choice in the entry-level, midzoom category, and I can recommend it, as long as you're not a big low light shooter.
