Product Details of Pentax Q Black Digital Camera Kit w/ 8.5 mm Lens

Description

The Pentax Q Digital Camera with 8.5mm Lens is a small, lightweight interchangeable lens cam with the look and feel of a rangefinder, but many of the capabilities of a DSLR. Whether you're looking to shoot in stealth mode, or you simply want an easy to carry camera that provides more versatility than a point-and-shoot, the Q was designed with you in mind. Some might consider it a party camera. Pentax simply calls it "evolved".

Pentax Q Review

The Pentax Q is the smallest mirrorless interchangeable lens camera (MILC) currently available. At only 3.9? × 2.3? × 1.2? (without a lens) and weighing only 6.3oz, you could almost put it on a key-chain! The engineers have made a very nice, very small camera that performs at least as well as, and probably better than, any other camera of it’s size.

DCRP Review: Pentax Q

Overall, the Pentax Q is a pricey interchangeable lens camera whose biggest feature is its diminutive size and wide selection of special effects. Its photo quality, performance, and feature set certainly don't justify the price premium, so you're really paying for whatever Pentax did to make the Q so small. The Q isn't a great camera, nor is it a poor one -- it's somewhere in the middle. If you...

Pentax Q Review

The new Pentax Q is unlike any other camera on the market - an interchangeable lens model that's as small as a compact yet as full-featured as a DSLR. But can it turn more than heads and persuade you to part with £500 / $800 of your hard-earned cash? Read our Pentax Q review to find out...

Pentax Q Review

The Pentax Q is a camera that instantly polarizes opinion more than most. Some love it for its incredibly compact design: there is truly no other interchangeable-lens camera that comes close to the size and weight of the Q, especially when one takes into account the optics. Others decry its smaller-than-average image sensor, and the limitations that brings in a number of areas. Both camps have a...
